You wont wanna miss a taste of speyside if you're passing by aberlour. Food is fantastic and the chef adds a flavor of personal touch by attending to you and make recomendations. Dishes are delectable and the Speyside platter is a must!!
Amazing food, fine selection of malts. Friendly owner who’s always up for a chat and will teach you anything you need to know about the area. We ate there one night and came back for dessert the other night so we were very, very satisfied. Looks really old school too, which I very much liked. You ar
Easy going tour with abundant knowledge of the Dufftown whiskey industry and history. Great selection of whiskeys for tasting. Recommended - but be prepared for a long walk.
My wife and I recently stayed in Dufftown for 2 nights and we ate at A Taste of Speyside both nights - and had an excellent experience both nights! The first night my wife did not feel well and the owner specially made a soup for her. I also highly recommend the trout dish - the sauce was fantastic.
The owner/chef was very friendly; he sat and talked with us for over an hour after dinner and we had a great conversation. The food was terrific. No matter what order the toffee pudding, it was one of the best (if not the best) desserts I've ever had.
We had a delicious meal and were greeted with wonderful warmth. The owner is very friendly and made us feel like at home. Definitely, a place to strongly recommend! Nice options of local beers too!
Outstanding food and service. Brunch was exactly what we expected, but great ingredients and perfect seasoning put it over the top. Chef/owner was a great and friendly host, the level of care really shows in the product!
Very friendly, fresh made, fabulous food and atmosphere. Laid back and relaxed approach but food was spot on and perfectly timed. Nice simple and local menu is just what was required after a busy day travelling and whisky tasting. These guys deserve to be very successful.
Lovely food and friendly service. Had venison casserole with a oat crumb that was delicious. The treacle pudding was lush. My wife loved her pea soup and salmon.
My wife and I went here for lunch while passing through. The proprietors were wonderful, friendly people. The food was fantastic and we will definitively come back again on a future trip. Get the Haggis, it's amazing.
Had two evenings at A Taste of Speyside - both wonderful experiences. The food was delicious and they atmosphere warm and welcoming. Tried Cullen Skink (rich and flavorful), the taste of speyside platter was delicious, and of course haggis. The crabbit hen and salmon were perfect. The desserts w
Wonderful staff working hard under current circumstances. We had plain home cooking. Good portions will go again.
It is always a pleasure to eat at the Taste of Speyside. The cold platter is especially great. They also on request drop a great whisky dinner
Dined here after spending the afternoon at Glenfiddich distillery, extremely friendly staff and chef who was more than happy to come and chat with the patrons and seemed suitably pleased to have cooked a great steak for us!
This was such a nice place for lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! I'd gladly eat here again.
Had a nice meal with husband and a friend they had the platter and was very impressed by the smoked venison, I had the cheesy burger which was also very nice.
