Review The Pilot Boat Inn - Dulas

Stopped here for food while on holiday. The food was excellent, staff were friendly and it was a lovely looking place. It was extremely quiet though for a Saturday afternoon, only one other couple were eating there at the time but we enjoyed our meal πŸ˜‹

We visited after a day crabbing at Beaumaris. We didn't book, just turned up at around 7.40pm. There is a large car park, but beware, as it is not lit and is very dark when leaving when it's dark outside! They stop serving food at 8 pm. The staff were friendly, the food came quickly and was nice. It is reasonably priced. We were allowed to take the dog in. There is a small play park which kept our 8 year old entertained.

Would highly recommend this pub! We went midweek lunch time after doing the coastal walk. Small menu, we opted for a lamb burger (a special) and sirachi chicken burger. We were pleasantly surprised as we expected 'pub grub', it was more restaurant quality in regards to presentation. Both burgers were very tasty! Nice little beer garden, ideal if you are dining with a dog. My only suggestion would be to have a light menu, like sandwiches too. Staff were lovely and friendly, and we would definitely go back!

Family and dog friendly pub where the staff were really pleasant and the food great. Genuinely the most enjoyable meal out we’ve had in ages.

The most surreal meal I've possibly ever had. The place was full of children and the bar staff, chefs and waitresses were all very young looking, but they did a fine job, food was lovely

We visited a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed the traditional pub food. We both had lasagne with peas and some garlic bread. Overall it was nice food, just your typical pub grub but that's never a bad thing. I had a shandy which was nice and the service was very good. If you're nearby I'd recommend popping in for a pint or a bite to eat.

We had a very nice meal last weekend, the Hunters Chicken and thy steak and Ale pie were excellent, the new owners and staff are making I difference in this very competitive market. All the best for the future.
