A warm and lively oasis in the heart of the Cairngorms! Inbetween two days of strenuous hikes, spending some time at the Speyside Centre allows you to refill your batteries with great energy and get some mementos to make your memories from your holiday last until you return once more. We had delicious food at the cafe, found (and bought!) lots of heather, good books and scented candles, enjoyed a pleasant talk with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, especially the kind lady at the register and the young gentleman caring for the plants. We return to the area since 2009 and love to see how the Centre evolved. Looking forward to next year!

First time we have been since it opened up newly built. It's absolutely amazing, fab range of good quality souvenir and gifts, great cafe with excellent service, food, sweet treats, and a lovely outdoor area. All in all fantastic.

What a lovely wee stop on our trip up north, great selection of local products at decent prices, the restaurant was nice and busy with what looked like lovely food we sadly had lunch plans. The garden centre has great variety and a nice wee squirrel/bird viewing area. We bought a couple of nice bottles of whisky from the selection they had again very reasonably priced.

Small but well stocked gift shop and garden centre, family owned and run which is a welcome change from the large chains. The gift shop has a wide array of Scottish gifts - knitwear, glassware, and all types of foodstuffs. There is a large Whisky and Gin section too. The cafe is excellent with a good range of home-baked produce. As it was mid winter we didn't venture into the garden centre but from what we could see it was quite Small, although inside there was a small department with garden paraphernalia and tools. Certainly a lovely place to visit. Wide doors so accessible for wheelchairs although a bit tight inside to manoeuvre around.

Lovely place hidden away in the woods. Garden centre, shop and restaurant all very nice. Staff all pleasant, friendly and chatty. Just tried it on passing but will return now I know where it is and what is there. Lots of space for parking.

Wasn't sure what to expect here. Randomly went in to check it out returning from Landmark adventure park. Great selection of plants and everything gardening related. Had excellent clootie dumplings at the cafe in Speyside center. Totally worth the visit for just that!

Update after recent visit, good to see the new Centre now open which is very smart & fresh with a new cafe with both indoor & a very pleasant outdoor seating area. A fine selection of meal/snack options & the Clootie Dumpling is always superb 😋. The garden centre is well stocked & nicely laid out on various levels. Pleasant friendly staff. They are open on a limited basis as they work on reconstruction of the centre after the devastating fire. There is part of the garden centre operational & the children's play area. The tea room is small but has a covered outdoor seating area also. The Clootie Dumpling still tastes as good as it always did. Looks like aiming for a Spring 19 full opening in the new premises.

This beautiful garden, tea room, play area for kids, store, flea market and Heather Center was a super fun stop on our way up to the Highlands. We had a nice cup of tea, watched the squirrels hopping and had a lovely walk around the garden. The new building was still being worked on but there was plenty of parking.

We enjoyed a fist class family trip to the Speyside Centre in late September. There is something for everyone here with a well stocked garden centre, wildlife viewing area, play area for the kids and fabulous gift shop and restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. This is a modern, beautifully designed centre and a great place to eat and buy souvenirs of your trip to Speyside. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous place to visit for a wee day out. Great wee shop and HUGE plant centre with all the knick knacks you'll need from borders to decoration to trees and shrubs. A viewing area for kids and the adults to watch the birdies 🐦, squirrels with a wee playground too ! For us we enjoy the simple things in life like a nice cup of tea or coffee with a cake or ,even better, a braw clootie dumpling like yer maw used to make on special occasions. Big shout out to Kelly in the catering team who got to know us from all our regular visits ( she's extra friendly and very efficient at what she does, nothing is too much for her ) the team there always make you feel welcome and Kelly knows the customer needs well. Well done 👏✔ . Just go visit won't be disappointed 😌.

Loved the cafe. My husband said it was the best latte coffee that he'd had on our holiday. Loved the gift shop. Bought several treats for when we get home

A great free campervan stopover. The cafè has a good range of food and drinks to offer at a reasonable price. This centre is also a garden centre with a craft shop. It also sells beer, wine and whiskey.
