Visited Woods for the first time whilst staying in Dulverton. The service was excellent. I called to make a reservation the week before and told them I was vegetarian, GF and Lactose free and when I got there was handed a menu prepared just for me! Very impressed by this as I normally would choose
You’ll need to book ahead as this is an extremely popular gastropub and for good reason. We’ve eaten here a couple of times and the food is superb with a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Wonderful 25th wedding anniversary lunch with our daughter today, what a treat. Amazing lamb main course and exceptional desserts. Excellent wine and such friendly staff and service. One of our favourite places to visit whilst in Exmoor.
Loved this place. Very traditional looking pub/restaurant with a good variety of drinks and very friendly staff. Having not ordered a starter and gone straight for the main, we were pleasantly surprised when presented with an Amuse-bouches prior to our main. Absolutely delicious food! And can't wait

Excellent bar restaurant in Dulverton. We had lunch. Delicious dishes with lovely atmosphere. Quite busy, you need to book a couple of weeks in advance if you fancy dinner! I can't recommend it enough!
