Dumfries - Dumfries and Galloway - Photo album

Nice little Scottish station. Service is adequate but with old rattly noisy diesel stock. Toilets were quite horrible but at least they have them!
Missed my train by a minute so had the pleasure of talking to the friendly barista in the cafe. Friendly chat, nice coffee and tasty rolls. Couldn't ask for more from a small station.
A cold brisk morning in Dumfries with work, had 30 mins to kill so had the pleasure of meeting Danny the Barista in the station cafe.... Excellent service and conversation with a smile and the coffee was just as good... 5 STARS
Nice station and staff And nice history pics from how the station looked and operated back In the days Nelstaljic
Tidy station with a café and a garden.
Nicely preserved traditional station, clean and tidy, and well kept. Glad to see it survives, unlike so many of Scotrail’s barren, sterile, windswept, bland tarmac strips! Plenty of canopy cover for shelter in harsher weather. Car parking for a nominal fee. Ticket office and waiting rooms, and a lim
Just waved at this special train. Fabulous timing, didn't know it was coming through until today. Managed to get a couple of pictures before it got too dark.
Blew me away, old building but from walking in to walking out this place is perfect.clean, all coved well organised, room very large well equipped and best breakfast I have had in hotel for long time...everything spot on
It's a good station, not as good as 1987
Clean and nice
As usual visits to certain things are subjective for instance I was visiting for a football game which my team won which is rewarding so my visit was par excellence
Fine looking station, with increased train services to Carlisle, generally 1 per hour during the day
Nice place, a bit cold in the waiting room but it was ok
Always love coming back here to Dumfries!! Home away from home ❤️
Well kept, pretty station. Helpful staff.
Regularly get off the 01.16 here, clean centrally located station.
The most beautiful area in the south of Scotland
