New Hunan was our go-to restaurant for Chinese food. We now live in Williamsburg and have not found any restaurant that is anywhere near the quality and service. We miss it very much!!

Loved this place! cute and welcoming setup/decorations inside. called in to order, the woman super friendly, our order was ready in about 30 minutes. I got the General Tso tofu extra spicy and my boyfriend got the Shrimp Lo Mein. my tofu was on the crispier side but that’s not much of a problem for me. pricing is adequate and portions are generous, lots of leftovers! I read lots of reviews before choosing this place out of the chinese takeout options. i’m glad i found this place and will definitely be coming back in the future.

Traveling and this restaurant was near the AirBnb, the food was good, prices are reasonable and place was decorated nicely, showing there Asian culture.

Delivery is always quick. I’m half Asian so I’m funny about eating carry outs but this one is clean, the rice is always fresh and I always order garlic scrimp, with additional noodles. The serving portion is really good too. I highly recommend this place. They are open pretty late on weekends too.

Absolutely love New Hunan. This is our go to spot; the lady at the register always makes us feel extremely welcomed, and their food has always been the best in the area. Highly recommend.

I went with a friend and I got their Chicken Chow Mein. It was so good! The food was hot. The portion was excellent it filled my stomach. New Hunan did an excellent job with my order, They were quick and friendly! I get all my Chinese from there now!

My family has been ordering from New Hunan for about 20 years now (!) and we've never been disappointed. As a teen I ordered lemon chicken every time and the young woman at the counter started calling me "Lemon." I was thrilled to go again when I moved back to the area recently and it's just as good as I remember.

I love this place! The food is delicious--l wish I could recreate their broccoli in brown sauce, fried rice, chicken in black bean sauce, or Hunan chicken--and the service is always excellent. The owner is irrepressibly charming and knows her customers by name. Her smile and good cheer are delightful. The restaurant is fastidiously clean, which is very reassuring these days. I always look forward to my weekly visits. Highly recommended!
