Review The Beech Tree Restaurant & Cafe Bar - Dumgoyne

Very friendly welcome. Good gluten free options. I had the beachtree burger. I could only just finish it so I was pleased that I had avoided the larger beachtree challenge burger as it was twice the size!!!

A bit run down, but very, very friendly place with a nice playground and mini zoo.

Great food and affordable diversified menu. The chicken and Haggis was delightful with veggies cooked perfectly. Staff is friendly and efficient. Outdoor kids play makes it an ideal family break by good weather. And if you book 6h in advance kids eat for free! Parking is ample and easy access. Nice animal/bird experience (goats...) Do recommend!

A wee stop off at the end of our wee West Highland Way walk, before we headed back to Carbeth. Lovely day. Lovely setting. My 8 year old was fair taken with the animals, the play area and the old mini-tractors.

Absolutely amazing place! Arrived in late October and bought a meat pie and a beer. Nice food and reasonable prices. I felt like the waitress would give me the world if I asked. VERY friendly and helpful about my journey!

Easily the best gluten free burger I've ever had. The service is great, the food is great, and the animals are beautiful. Totally worth a stop

Only able to serve food outside because of Coronavirus restrictions but still well worth a visit and does have protection from the rain. Menu is streamlined but still very tasty. The Beech Tree burger is a delicious feast with two meaty burgers, mushrooms and relish - worth the messiness. Kids portions available. Good beer selection. Stunning location, right on the West Highland Way. Picnic area available for hikers with their own food. Brilliant play equipment for kids and lots of birds, goats, rabbits, ponies and other animals too.

Great location and fantastic outdoor seating area with climbing frame/equipment for children. There is an amazing collection of animals (goats, rabbits, donkeys, ducks, rabbits) which the kids loved. Downside for me was lack of baby change facilities so baby was changed on the floor of the men's toilet :( Food was well portioned with a good choice and arrived quickly; although my meal arrived luke warm. Overall pretty good and would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or some lunch.

Little gem of a place. Has goats, horses, ducks, okay area as well as the restaurant. So good for all the family. Good food large portions. Cater for coeliacs. Lovely friendly staff. Busy with walkers and cyclists on West Highland Way.

Great place for walkers...... We sat inside for lunch. Quite quiet as it was Monday. Cute rescue animals in the garden. Quirky little place
