Batter up!. Absolutely great fish served here. The batter is amazing, it's kinda sweet and soft...not too crispy. Excellent! The queues do get a bit long at peak times, but that's only cos it's worth the wait ;)

Top Chipper. Murray's is the freshest fish and chip shop around.
Queues out the door at the weekends but well worth the wait. White pudding's are excellent but it has to be Fish and Chips eaten at Broughty Ferry Harbour for me.

Visited on a lovely sunny evening. Q was out onto the street but decided to give it a go as hoping this would mean the food was really good. Took around 30 minutes from start to getting our food. Had a sausage supper which was eaten on the sea front a very short walk away. Was outstanding, batteted sausage was top quality and chips were perfect. Worth the wait. Prices on par with others.

We were let down by a chippy near to where we are staying. I remembered there was a good chippy around here from several years back when I went to college in Dundee. So I took a chance and drove the hour to come to Murray's and it was totally worth it. We all really enjoyed our suppers. Two of us had battered smoked sausage suppers and one of us had sausage supper. We all had curry sauce. Was just perfect eating it by the sea too.

Food was really good, had a Pizza Crunch supper, didn't have to wait long for them either. No complaints here

Very tasty, recommend One large fish & chips, one small fish & chips, curry sauce & 2 portions of ketchup £17.50 takeaway. Only given four stars as price could be lower.

My wife and I went here today, best fish & chips we have had in a long time, fish was perfectly cooked as were the chips. Price was good for the size of the fish and plenty of chips. The shop was busy and most seem to locals, which is always a good sign, fish was freshly cooked and wait wasn't long. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Delivery was quick on a Monday night and the food came piping hot! Definitely has the best battered sausage in Dundee and the chips blow the steeple out of the water. Our new regular chippy, well done!

Great classic fish and chips, been a customer for years. Employees are lovely, especially the owner. Nice that they hire young people, but also that there’s employees of all varieties. Usually get served quite quickly and you can see your chips being fried in front of you which is always nice. Great tasting food, no complaints from me.

Would definitely recommend and l will certainly be back.

Lovely Food, but very disappointed that counter sauce isn’t supplied free of charge on supper. A fish supper cost a lot these days and to buy silly wee sachets of sauce and exorbitant prices means their not purchased and spoils the experience and taste. Bring back free sauce for goodness sake please. 😁
