Best restaurant in Dundee! The interior of the restaurant is so unique and alive with art covering every surface. Everyone there is so nice too! The food is amazing and easily our favourite date night in all of Dundee. Takeaway is amazing too. Will always love Agacan!

Visited with two friends, booked for 6.30 sitting, friendly welcome from staff, restaurant was full, its a small place but a great atmosphere, pictures on wall painted by the owner. his son now in the kitchen. We ordered three starter dishes to share with pitta bread, all freshly prepared, then three main dishes that we shared , and a bottle of wine, all dishes were very tasty and well presented, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Highly recommend a visit here :)

Fantastic food, took time but was well worth the wait. Bit pricey but the portions are huge. Small bottle of Efes was £4.50 and seems expensive compared to Milas in Dundee centre which sell big bottles for a fraction more. The baklava was OK. The artwork is amazing and such a lovely atmosphere. Overall great experience

My two colleagues and myself all enjoyed the meal greatly. It was there first time there and they were in shock as how good the meal was.
I highly recommend the Iskender!
It's a very friendly, cosy restaurant and the staff are great. If you haven't been yet, it should be on your list to go to asap!

Very unique place in Dundee. The food is delicious and they have a good variety. I don't give the the 5 stars just because i ordered my dish with bread and they brought me rice. Also the Hummus wasn't the best. But the main dish was absolutely delicious. Ask for the yogurt sauce!

For Turkish kebab meal .
Bit pricey but worth it 👌
The only fault seat I was in was a bit wonky 🤣.

Some of the best food I've ever had, 5 stars is not enough. Unbelievable flavours.

The menu is meat heavy but the veggie platter is to die for.

Great atmosphere, Old fashion and fabulous Turkish dish! It looks like enjoying your kabeb in a Persian miniature. Fantastic!

Always delicious, hot fresh food prepared before your eyes. Roughly the same menu since 1982, but if it ain't broke...

The Agacan is something of a Dundee institution, being a permanent fixture on the Perth Road for more years than I would care to remember. A small, intimate venue, well-decorated with plentiful artwork inside, and some rather interesting carvings on the exterior.

Service is friendly and efficient, with explanations and recommendations given upon request. I asked for a slight amendment to my main course, and this was accommodated without any issue or query.

This is excellent, authentic Turkish cuisine, without a doubt the best in Dundee - the quality of ingredients is undoubtedly first class. The Iskender main course is particularly good, and comes highly recommended from me.

One or two reviews cite pricing to be on the steep side - yes, it's not cheap, but the food was plentiful and well presented, and I feel offered reasonable value for money. The drinks are sensibly priced, so they do not inflate the costs significantly. I'll certainly be back.

Best kebab in town. I love the flavours, food is amazing and tastes very pure, not like most take aways kebab type places where food is packed with god knows what. best place for that type of food in town,.

They make the best kababs. Fresh ingredients are cooked in front of your eyes with an open kitchen.
