First off, the food was Excellent and the portions were generous. The sampling plate of appetizers filled me up, and then some. Best tahina I've had this side of Cairo. Big, bright place, friendly staff. Extensive options for non meat-eaters like me, as well as carnies. Dundee has needed this kind of restaurant for ever.
Hats off to the manager Conner and all the staff for making our dining experience so memorable. Giza will be my first port of call next time I'm in Dundee

Yummy food. Yummy kunafa and baklava. Excellent staff. Been to many turkish and arab restaurants in Edinburgh and Glasgow, I found Giza's food better then the rest I visited in Glasgow n Edinburgh.

Delighted with the new Giza Restaurant in Dundee, a Middle Eastern restaurant was needed in Dundee for the people to taste a different type of food in Middle Eastern culture. The food was freshly made and very impressive. Highly recommended, finally a new taste in Dundee. Will be back again certainly. Gifted with freshly home made baklava which was very nice of them. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The price is very good for the food and portion.

Having read previous reviews we had prepared ourselves for a long wait but our food arrived very quickly. It was delicious!
Very friendly and helpful staff, food fairly priced and the portions are huge, the amount of food waste they produce must be quite significant. With that in mind and knowing they are still in the process of developing their menu, might be a good idea if one could order half portions instead. Just a suggestion!
Thank you for a very flavoured culinary experience, we would definitely go back to experiment further.

I went to the resturant a week after it opened. I was very glad I did, the food is fantastic. The portions sizes are very good and very tasty, with the added bonus of being very good value. Having spent quite some time in North Africa and the Middle East, you are also getting authentic tasting food. The whole experience is complimented by very friendly staff and the owner. A highly recommended place to eat in Dundee.

This was a very tasty experience I ordered the mixed grill and lentil soup and have no complaints what so ever. Service can be a bit slow but do bear in mind these guys have been open 2-3 days now. If you decide to try here I recommend not being to rushed for time. The waiters are amazing and I promise when the food comes you will not be disappointed. Also huge bonus is this place is very cheap for the type of food they are serving up (this is not a cheap take away kebab)

Had the most amazing experience! The food was 5 star! The service was 5 star! Authentic, real cultural food, not the ‘British version’ of Middle Eastern food that is found on every side street of Dundee. Staff and owner very attentive and proffesional. Felt welcomed and very satisfied with the overall experience.

Wow! Turned up on a Saturday with no booking so delighted when they squeezed us in. Totally amazing staff--all so friendly and good natured and happy to recommend their own favourites. As for the food: fabulous and plentiful. Honestly so fresh and tasty. Then we spent way less than we expected as we waddled out completely stuffed. Thanks for a brilliant meal--we'll be back!
