Very quirky decor but good facilities. Twinned with the barber's next door. Coffee and food tasty. Vegan and gluten free available. Noisy grounds machines lost an atmosphere star. Go to coffee house in Dundee.
Brilliant wee place for a coffee/ tea and a light snack. Service was super quick and friendly. Would come back again. A refreshing change from the Big Chain coffee shops out there.
We were in the town centre of Dundee to see some of the Beanotown activities and hadn't planned anything for lunch. We came across the Daily Grind by chance and what a find!

Staff are some of the friendliest I've met. Love the decor and atmosphere of the place. Drinks are good and coffee is great quality. Great options for delicious pastries from the Newport Bakery which are delicious and an extensive food menu.
Only issue for me is that there are no drink size options

The atmosphere, coffee and food are great but it's the staff that shine. Me and my partner were in for lunch with our two disabled children (one with autism and one with cerebral palsy) and they were very accommodating, kind and courteous. It's not often we can go out somewhere with the kids and fee
I only had a short time yet the service was still great, smiley and helpful. I chose a goat cheese toastie and it was delicious. Dani made my iced caramel latte to go for me. I love the decor and relaxed vibe
I sat in and worked on the laptop in here today. Overall very impressed, excellent coffee and lovely staff. Smoothie was served with a plastic straw which I felt was a bit off brand and not ideal. Other than that it is a lovely coffee shop with a nice atmosphere.
Lovely looking, delicious food with big portions. The desserts are clever creations and delicious in taste. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again.

just a quickly stop at Dundee and we found this coffee shop because it was the only one opened at 10:30 on a Sunday. what a great found! the cortados was very good and the brownie with caramel (i don’t remember the name that they use there) is just A M A Z I N G, really amazing!!!
The staff are extremely friendly and likeable. The coffees are perfect - they steam the milk for just the right amount of time so it has the right texture and doesn’t taste like it’s been scolded.
