The Sandwich bar becomes host to the Dunfermline Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Cafe every 2nd Saturday. Great place to meet fellow Veterans for a brew, bacon buttie and a chat & making new friends. More colleagues welcome, just search on Facebook and ask to join. Need to provide your Service details. Great atmosphere and company! Cafe is open as normal Monday -Friday as it is situated on Pitreavie Industrial Estate Dunfermline. Its proper business name is the Taste Cafe.

Went along for what will be the first of many veterans breakfast club meetings, i was running a tad late oooops almost 11 but still jumping and bubbling with some great veterans from all services and banter, i travelled all the way from motherwell and was greeted by a lovely breakfast and coffee, the girls couldnt do enough for you, felt like i was meeting up with old friends instead of what was strangers but not now lol well if a squaddie who marches on their stomach can compliment a breaky it must be good xx brilliant meeting u girl's and no doubt will be over again with a few others in tow xxx

I am so sorry that setting up the AFVBC has brought such trouble to this very good cafe ... it seems some ex soldiers prefer to be keyboard warriors rather than be brave. Thankfully people know the truth ... and it does make others wonder just what these keyboard warriors are so worried about? I guess time will tell ... Can I ask everyone to ignore any childish bad reviews... this is a good cafe and this is where the Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club will be starting on Saturday 3rd if August 9am to 12pm. Unfortunately not everyone has our veterans interests at heart and both myself and the cafe have been receiving childish and malice comments. It seems some grown men need to grow some balls instead of behaving in a manner like this. It really is playground politics and it makes you wonder why a social club set up purely for the benefit of veterans has made so many ruffled feathers. Something to hide perhaps? Interestingly "Gordon" has taken his comment down ... but seems to be going under his Sunday name of Sarah now ... amazing how stupid and cowardly people can be ...
