Food and service was second to none. The presentation was first class and the portion sizes were massive. One of the nicest meals out myself and my family have had. Over all, amazing grub, great atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff and an extremely reasonably priced menu. The Gables Team are A star. We will be back.

A big thank you to Niall today. I called in today to get a take away dinner for my nephew as we were going shopping and he was getting hungry. We were not having dinner as it was too early for us. He told me if I wanted to take my nephew inside to feed him his dinner I was more than welcome. Great customer service....

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped for a meal and were welcome with such warmth and happiness even tho we didn't have a reservation, the staff and food as well as the atmosphere of the Gables Restaurant will make us come back.

It was a long time since I was in the Gables. It was always good but I think it's got even better. Three Sunday lunches were great. For those not so nimble it was nice to have the food served at table.
