Me and my girlfriend stopped here on our way home around 7 PM after a day in Belfast (we live in Co. Sligo). The first two places we looked at were either shut down or closed for the evening. We were set on Indian so our maps brought us here. The place is actually pretty hidden. You have to know it's there. If we didn't have Google Maps, I think we would've walked right past it. We were seated at a nice two person table beside a space heater and had food in front of us within 20 minutes. The quality of the food was sublime and left me wanting more. When we were done the bill came to around £40 for a korma, garlic curry, 2 boiled rices and two portions of naan bread. One of the more expensive Indian restaurants I've dined at, but not the most expensive. I would definitely visit here again next time I'm leaving Belfast!

Amazing food! My husband ordered the vegetable pathia, and I sneaked some too. It was honestly the most flavourful dinner I've ever had! The service is always quick and the staff are so very friendly and helpful.

This place stays as one of my favourites for years. Probably the only good sit in Indian restaurant in this area. The staff are extremely nice and friendly. The food here is very tasty, especially their chicken tikka. They also server Chinese in this restaurant so it adds a nice bit of variety to the available dishes on the menu.

Staff very welcoming. The food I can say is good apart from a lamb korma I had to return because it was far far too sweet. Sickly sweet. I'm a chef trained in Indian cuisine so I know what is meant to be and what's not....

Very busy now all sit in restaurants are closed. Always loved the food from here, but quality of the food has slipped quite a bit. Biryani was cold and rice was hard, nan bread normally freshly cooked but this wasn't. Cold and hatd. Will give it another chance

Takeaway review - Service in this place is always fantastic. Bengal Spice (often referred to by devotees simply as 'Bengal') is the longest running game in town and on the rare occasion when I decide to treat myself to a doner kebab, nowhere else is worth a look. Fantastic fresh-made bread, well-cooked meat and a simple no-fuss salad have kept me coming back since 2004. The key, though, is the sauce. Bengal's chili dressing is in the perfect spot between sweet and hot, and their garlic mayo is better than any I've had in any local restaurant of any kind. The mixed kebab is also fab with particular praise owed to the pakora chicken. Delivery service is up and running with full force since COVID19 hit so be careful getting started as it might be hard to stop!

First time sitting in, got chicken madras. Was very busy due to last day of "eat out to help out" good food! Sitting on toilet now suffering for it though! Would go back!

Excellent menu and very friendly staff. The food is excellent for a take-away and is of a standard I would expect from a sit-in restaurant. 5*

Simply the best Indian flavours in town. Not watered down or tinned like in other shops. Garlic sauce and chilli taste the best around.
