We liked it here, Dungeness is a very unusual place overlooked by a brutal power station yet retains a certain charm. Take a walk down to the sea it’s normally quite breathtaking. Long shingle beach which is clean, but I wouldn’t attempt swimming. Worth a visit you can park for free on the grass verge.

Cute and very popular snack shack + fishmonger by the beach with plenty of outdoor picnic benches. We went for lunch on Saturday. The place was already packed with a long queue. We stood in line for about 20 min to order our food and was told that the food will take about 30 min. And they were right on the money! We got the food in just about 39 min. It was worth the wait! We had a lobster flat bread, fried fish flat bread, and crispy potato’s, and finished with local ice cream. Everything was super fresh and great value! Would recommend if you are in the rye/camber sand area!

On reflection like a film set, even in the grey air this space was something I won’t forget. You’ll be please with what ever you order because there is the right amount of grease and greens. I’d like to see how they use all the scallops shells in years to come. My parents enjoyed the feast
