Myself and 2 friends stopped off at the ponderosa for the first time on sat 2nd april....we each had a starter and main meal...all different ..and each and every one was beautiful....(the garlic mushrooms were amazing:-) )......in fact it was good we called back on the sunday again for lunch...again great friendly service and beautiful food...one small point was when asking if we cud change a pepper sauce to a mushroom sauce we were charged as an extra...instead of just a swap....but it wont put us off going back again...in fact were looking forward to it.

Stopped off on the way home from Donegal to catch the lunch offer. The restaurant was full but they were able to serve us in the bar. Service was great as was the food. I had the Caesar salad, burger and chocolate brownie. Excellent. 👌

Service was excellent, food was nice, had the Korean chicken wings and salted chilli chicken to start, then 2 types of topped chips, 1 with taco 1 with garlic sauce. The taco sauce was quite tasteless and as was the garlic and the garlic topped chips was covered in the same Korean bbq sauce as the starter. Only disappointment was asked for the quietest table and while we were seated there the staff seated another couple beside us despite there being many other free tables available which was a disappointment but other than that quite nice

Lovely meal here today. Fantastic service and family friendly atmosphere. Plenty of parking outside. 2 faults I could find. Toilets had low water pressure at hand basins. Is the Wild mushroom & Parmesan Tagliatelle really vegetarian as labelled on the menu? Other restaurants have fallen to this schoolboy error. Side and deserts perfect.

I had passed The Ponderosa quite a few times on my way to Donegal and Derry and only knew it as the highest pub in Ireland. But on a recent trip to Derry with the family we were looking for somewhere for a late lunch on our way home and decided to give The Ponderosa a try. I'm so glad we did! The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend eating here!

Went there as a group of 29 and we had preordered our meals. Good quick efficient service. Several of us who had the rump steak could hardly get it cut even with a steak knife. Tasty but a bit tough. Starters and desserts were great.

Exellent food! Top service! Absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was amazing, the prices were a little high. The chef was kind enough to make a burger for us that was off menu. Food presentation was fabulous, worthy of an instagram post.

Food came out piping hot and very quickly. I only ordered chips. Small pub style menu, but more on the fancy end of the scale. Service was good. We were there for their pub quiz and it was good craic
