Really terrible experience here today. Had a table booked for Sunday lunch at 2.30pm and left my phone number with the booking. Arrived at 2pm and was told our booking had been moved to 5.30 without a prior call and no real explanation. …

Stopped for a pint, kitchen was closed and honestly going back! Great atmosphere and one of the most friendly pubs I've ever stopped in at!
Highly recommend! Stopped here today on a whim as we were on a walk in the area. We didn’t have a booking but the staff made space for us in the bar. Had the lamb shank roast which was incredibly tasty!
Lovely little pub with great beer and food. Staff are super friendly. Stopped as part of the Britstops scheme, would definitely use again when passing this way
