Oh, wow... what a Gem. So pleased we found this place. The staff are so friendly, chatty and helpful. Believe me when I say try this place, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be returning. Here are a few pictures of our room. Thank you for a fabulous weekend.

Myself and my husband called in this afternoon for a last minute Sunday Dinner. Booked a table for inbetween jobs at half 5 but turned up a little earlier. We were sat at the bar while a table was prepared and no sooner did we get our drinks we were shown to our table. Bar staff were super friendly.

Really great food at great prices. 25% off menu if eating before 6.30pm. Specials Monday to Friday are excellent. Service is very friendly. If car par full, there's an overflow area down the road.

Went up to visit family and the Hotel is perfectly placed for travel around the area. The food was fantastic and the accommodation was very comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Will certainly return.
Absolutely deserved a 5 stars review! A hidden gem right outskirt of Durham Newly renovated room - we have room 1&2 Both are chic, nicely decorated and spacious! Restaurant is also a must try, again spacious and look out with lovely view wide variety of menu options and different promotion all week!

First visit tonight food was delicious red hot and tasty .just shame we waited 30 mins for food people came after us were served first then the waitress realised they lost the chitty for kitchen .we did get an extra 10% off the bill for long wait .were very big on customer service as its our jobs.

What an amazing place; I stayed one night - booked in by the landlord; so welcoming - one of the best pubs I’ve ever visited! Superb food had in the restaurant - a busy vibrant pub; with lots of locals and travels mixing - BZ!
