Seventeen - Durham - Photo album

Previously Seventeen - now known as THE GINGER DOG@COXHOE. Lovely venue. Met friends for Sunday Lunch. There is now a bar on premises and is planning to open on an evening. I wud Advise you too book as it was very busy .
Had the chance to stop for lunch and as there was a table outside opted to sit in the sun with a nice cold fanta. I ordered a hot beef sandwich with chips and wasn't disappointed, a good chunky home cooked beef sub with a generous portion of fresh cut chips smothered in around half a gallon of gravy
Me and three friends had afternoon tea here and it was amazing. We didnt just get a few sandwiches and scones there was quiche, wraps, sausage rolls, meringues, fruit. Fantastic! See you all again soon.
My friend suggested meeting here and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed a rich strong Americano each. The desserts were great! I had crumble and custard. Really generous portions beautifully plated. They let us stay on chatting after other customers left. Really homely. Would definitely go back.
I had these for my husbands 70th just before Christmas. The food and service were fab. I then used Seventeen for the venue and had a high tea/party for my Mam's 80th. Again, the food and staff were fabulous. The before and after care are next to none and the staff go above and beyond. I also like
Used the catering service for a family funeral. Couldn’t fault it. Had lots of comments about how lovely the food was. Waitress was very helpful and friendly too. Would definitely recommend
This is a wonderful place for a coffee - a snack - or a main meal. Everything cooked freshly with generous portions and a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. It used to be on the East Side of the village as part of the garden centre but migrated to the centre during the lockdown - we serendipit
Lovely cafe. Excellent food, hot chocolate was gorgeous with a mountain of marshmallows. Superb chips and a great selection of tasty puddings. Would recommend booking a table in advance if you are a larger group.
