We came here with a big party and mostly enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere is original and attractive. Our service was quite good, though they weren’t busy at the time. The entrees were entirely hit or miss. The nachos and wings were outstanding, but the sandwiches and wraps left a lot to be desired. They have an unconventional menu so be prepared to try something new. We will come back, but be more careful with our selections next time.

Awesome place for dinner - especially before an event at DPAC or the ball park! The food was really yummy. I love how the menu explains that this is a Cuban restaurant & what to expect. Really good food - the Havana pork platter was really flavorful & the fried plantains were very tasty. There are all sorts of options for food & drinks in a great setting for a reasonable price. The friendly staff also helped make our first visit a great one. We will be back!

Took my wife to Cuban Revolution for her birthday. There were not too many people there for a Friday night around 9pm. The hostess seated us wherever we wanted to sit as literally, we were the only customers inside the restaurant. There were a few couple's outside on the patio. Nonetheless, we ordered food with our waiter, who happened to be the hostess as well. He was a little slow with service but polite. We ordered our food and it was prepared quickly. The food was good. We ordered Croquetas de Jamon as an appetizer. Good but small portion (3 small pieces) for an appetizer. For the main entree I ordered the Ropa Veija Platter. My wife ordered the mix Bolsitas (shrimp and chicken). Both entrees has good flavor. We ordered the Key Lime Cheesecake. This was a little weird. The portion size was small. At first, it tasted like a cream cheese cheesecake, but as we kept eating towards the outer crust, the texture of the cheesecake changed to a New York style of taste. Although almost empty, the atmosphere was good. They had a live band playing and portraits of Castro, Malcolm X, John Lennon, JFK and others. Overalls good but portion size of some dishes and the slow service of our waiter/hostess diminished the experience. It is definitely worth a try as I believe the atmosphere and different cuisine works in there favor.

Dinner at Cuban Revolution was an experience. We went for date night on Saturday night and the ambience was amazing. There was a live jazz band and the service was great as well. The servers used this quick check system which is handheld and places your order in before he/she even leaves the table. The system is also used to pay. I had the JFK platter which was delicious. Perfect!!! My hubby had the ropa vejia (I didn’t spell that right at all) but it was okay. I guess just moving from Miami we have a different take on it. So it wasn’t what we expected in that dish. The drinks were about $10 each which the price wasn’t on the menu but we spent $40 just on drinks. The names of the drinks and the sayings on the menu are pretty cool as well. If you haven’t gotten a chance to check this place out please do give it a try. Lunch or dinner...especially for the live band.

After seeing a show at the dpac it was one of the only places open till midnight, however, we enjoyed it. The outdoor ambience is really nice. The water, outdoor seating and history of the old tobacco factories made it a really cool setting. Getting seated was a little awkward, I'd imagine after a show lets out hoards of people come in, didn't seem like they were prepared. Our waiter was great though. Very attentive. Food took a bit, but it was late. We liked our food. Cuban sandwich was on point. The chicken over rice and beans was good too, maybe needed something else though? A sauce. As for authenticity....well.... it's a good cuban place, prob could be a bit more though. The name says a lot towards the political art inside and on the menu. If you're not easily offended and flustered as some are these days you should be fine....or just sit outside. Bonus** If you enjoy eco friendly options while dining like we do....they dont print paper bills, it's all electronic and their to go options are cardboard box. 😁 Kudos for no sfyrofoam.

On the advice of a friend we made reservations before a show at DPAC. I am grateful that I made a reservation. The place was hopping! Cocktails were good. Our entrees comprised of "The Fidel" and "Bay of Pigs". All food was served fast and tasted very good. Overall a great experience.

We had a great experience. We came on a Friday evening about 7pm and were seated immediately. Some of the reviews comment on bad service but we received quick and great service. The food is very delicious and a wide variety. I can’t compare it to ‘authentic’ Cuban food as I’ve never been to Cuba but overall we’d come back and eat again. Portion size is average. Nothing came with the sandwiches, seems most items are a la carte.
