Makus Empanadas

Nothing was wrong with the empanadas I ordered, but like others said they are a little dry and bland. I wouldn't order the chicken again, but the pepperoni and sweet corn fillings were really good. Loved the rice. I was looking for a healthier alternative to all the fried fast food in the area. I'll probably come back.

This was my first time eating empanadas from here. I got the beef empanadas which are supposed to be the most popular, and the sweet corn. I wasn’t that keen on the beef one. It had like refried beans or something in it, I prefer empanadas prepared a different way. That’s what’s great about empanadas there’s a wide variety. Anyways I never tried a sweet corn empanadas though and that was surprisingly delicious. I will definitely return and get the sweet corn empanadas and try other ones. No complaints on service or ordering.

Great empanadas. The baked crust was great and not nearly as heavy as I'm used to empanadas being, and in the little letters stamped into the different types was cute and made them easy to navigate. Ordered pork, chicken, sweet corn, and beef. I liked all of them! The sweet corn was surprising - I don't know why, it's literally corn and cheese. Chicken was probably my favorite. I would order ten more easily.

Disappointment. Pure Disappointment Perfect business set up worst product ever. On time, easy to check out, friendly staff, fairly priced (before you try the product) Why did we throw them away. Not authentic: a beef empanada is 100% beef plus onions and spices. This product has 50% fillers, who knows what they are, corn starches and fat of sorts. Fast food meets Argentina empanada. Boo!

If you’re reading this before you’re going here to eat don’t do it it was honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever had in my life!! we got one of each and it was horrible each and everyone of them!! They are very bland and The only one that was remotely halfway decent was the pepperoni one and that’s only because it tasted like a pizza!! There’s no way these guys make a decent earning I’m sorry but I’m just trying to save somebody else some pocket change!! I don’t know how they’re charging three dollars for these I wouldn’t give you $.10!! Why haven’t they did the no stars reviews yet??!? I’m sorry guys but do better! I’m sure if you fry them they would Maybe have a better taste but that was the blandest thing I’ve ever had in my life! Considering I’m honest about my reviews I’m sorry you feel that way but obviously it’s your restaurant and you’re gonna defend it!! Lol

Don't eat here or your going to find yourself going somewhere else to eat shortly after as the price vs amount food don't add up. They charge pretty much $15 for three very small empanadas I'll say they're not even 4 inch Long I tried two beef one chicken and the rice and beans For the rice and beans the beans were overpowering maybe took 5/6 of the container with really Little rice The empanadas outside of being extremely small the beef was almost all filler with maybe one beef piece same for the chicken. If your latin and use to eaten alot of food on plate don't come here you'll be disappointed on amount of food received for the price very expensive

Cleanliness 5/5. Food prep was done with gloves, which were then taken off and new ones put on by staff when handling money in between serving our food. Tables in dining area were clean. Bathroom was acceptable, for lunch time standards. Price 4/5. The food is reasonably priced. It's not gonna break the bank, however I wish the empanadas were at least $.50 cents cheaper so I could afford to buy more than just a few! Quality 5/5. Incredible! They taste amazing and are packed little pockets of flavor. I have tried the veggie, chicken and pork. Loaded down with sauce and cheese. Juicy meats baked in marinades and soaking in their own juices create a packed punch on your tastebuds. Just wish they were a little bigger than the size of small dumpling! Service 5/5. Cashier was working fast between managing the register and prepping peoples food. Even made an extra trip to ensure we were enjoying our meals and bring some hot sauce to us. We will be back.
