Texas Roadhouse

The food in this place is very good, I have even had the opportunity to go to one of these restaurants in another country and the quality is the same. I regularly go to the restaurant in Apex, but this one is closer to me now and we decided to go. Logically the food is VERY good, but the service was slow, not bad but slow. That's why the sign they have inside the employee area caught my attention, which I took a photo of, but I think they sometimes forget about it.

I was so impatient. I understand the staff may be under staff so I tired to bare with the staff. My waiter was so busy. My host Jade, kept checking on me. She made me feel important. Then I was spoiled by both of the mangers. Sam was very impressive the way she constantly checked on me. I enjoyed this location it was my first time dinning there

Well, since my husband and I visited in February this year, I’m sure the Covid situation has impacted the service. There seemed to be several workers but a little of the cordiality was missing - The manager on duty who was also our server was friendly and efficient- adjusted our bill accordingly for my husband’s entree that was undercooked at the bone in part- The chef should know to cut a tiny bit along side a steak to achieve a well done but not burnt steak. My ribeye was excellent and out house salads were freshly prepared and actually very very good. The music was really loud even though this is the standard for this chain. The meat display locker at the entrance was dirty- I was really surprised- even though no food was in the locker. My husband had really looked forward to coming but he was really disappointed in his steak. We do plan to come back but it will be awhile.I’m not sure if people like myself who don’t appreciate the noise level would want this experience but if a person can and want a decent steak at a reasonable price(12 ounce ribeye entree, 20 ounce bone in ribeye entree and two drinks $58 plus tip), this is worth trying. Also, easily accessible off the Durham NC I-85 guess road exit- also located to several stores and a couple of fast food places, Costco and not to far from a major hospital and accommodations- easy parking - accessible friendly- the entrance doors are a little heavy for me to open.

I ordered medium well it's pink all the way through and I can't eat it! I am so upset right now I can not get anybody to answer the phone! I've called several times; it takes me 20 minutes to get there and 20 minutes to come back and I have to be somewhere at 3 Am .... i don't have cutlery; I had to go downstairs to the front desk of the hotel where I'm stayinf amh!! I requested A1 steak sauce.... nothing it wasn't in the bag I'm so hungry... Jesus ne a fence!!

To start things out the lady that greeted use wasn't professional at all. If we are required to wear a mask till we are seated why are the workers not required to wear their mask properly. I seen serveral employees wear their mask below their nose. Also I ordered my steak medium well, it came out medium. So I didn't eat my steak. Never seen a manager except for when he was singing happy birthday to an employee and announcing that the person was his new assistant. I am from Grover NC, Texas Roadhouse in Gastonia NC is my favorite place to eat. But the one in Durham NC is not a place I will visit again. In my opinion the manager isn't doing his job. There was other things going on that shouldn't be especially in front of customers. I will say our waitress stayed busy.

I went out to eat with my husband and step-son. We tried to call ahead to get on the list but their automated answering said to download the YELP app and get in the waiting list that way. I downloaded the app, searched for Texas Roadhouse and it shows up on the page to "join wait-list," which I did. I chose party of 3 and it showed my wait time and said to arrive in 10-15mins, which was the drive there. I got a text with further instructions on what to do when I got there. When I got there, there was a long line of people waiting to be seated. Per instructions from Yelp, I spoke to the person at the door who checked us on the list. We literally only waited 4 minutes before being seated, allowing my husband to park the car and walk over. We got a text saying to go to the front of the line to be seated. So we did. By far, best thing ever! The food was awesome, as always. I got the key lime margarita which was delicious! The steaks were cooked to perfection, which hasn't happened in a while, so we were extremely happy. I miss the dancing they used to do, but they did make the rounds singing their birthday song. Overall, great experience!

Was told we couldn’t come in and sit at the bar had a 20-30 minute wait, no problem. Was seated in a back corner then took the waitress 20 minutes or more to come take drink order. Got drinks had to ask for utensils and napkins. Bread was over cooked and was given dirty plates with the bread. We finished our drinks was waiting again for something to drink. Got up and moved to bar ordered a double White Russian and supposedly they made it according to the computer all I can say is the computer recipe needs to be changed. It was all cream maybe a splash of Kahlua, the drink looked like a glass of white milk. I refuse to pay $9.00 for a glass of cream. Steak my boyfriend ordered wasn’t cooked right. He ordered it to be done med. well and it was well done. I understand they were busy and probably training new people but no excuse for drink made incorrectly.
