Smashburger

I would usually give this place 5 stars easy!!! However when I went in last week I was turned completely off!!! I ordered my usual and the young lady who took my order was an absolute delight. As I was waiting on my food a young man , who worked there walked up playing in his hair. He picked up my bag and opened it as they were putting the food under the warmer. I told him he needed to wash his hands before handling my food because he was just playing in his hair. He turned to me and said, with an attitude, I’m putting on gloves and I told him that’s nasty you need to wash your hands along with wearing gloves. He did wash his hands and put the gloves on and the sweet girl that took my order witnessed the entire interaction and stepped in and bagged my food. The food was as usual good but that young guy and his attitude was a complete turn off!

I want to start by complimenting Franco M. who works the front end and bags the orders as well. He is absolutely a pleasure to speak with...very well spoken and polite with great knowledge of the menu...and the manager/owner Ketan Patel is just as wonderful. His amazing management skills make this location a favorite for my family and I. He and his staff are always striving to make it an amazing customer experience on every visit and show it each time. The food is hot and fresh and always done properly when requested. Customizations are never an issue either...as there are countless combinations available for the sandwiches on the menu...all of them being delicious! Great job Smashburger personnel and keep up the amazing work!

Sadly I don't have much to go on to give a better review. Came here for the first time with my daughter and the guy at the register left for the back as soon as we walked up (he definitely saw us). We were the only people in line and the place was fairly empty. Thought he would be right back, but nope. Waited more than 5 minutes and another person came out from the back, but instead of acknowledging us with something as small as a head nod or "be with you in a second" we were completely ignored as he started bagging orders. After about 10 minutes we ended up walking out and going to Chipotle next door.

Came into Smashburger their was an employee standing up front who turned around and started messing with what looked like to go orders. He never spoke. Never said give me a minute nothing. There was 1 table of customers. He continues on with that task and then takes off.. we stand there about 6 minutes and decided to just leave. Customer service is important!!
