Itaewon Grill

First time here. I arrived as they opened. Staff is awesome, patient and explained how to assemble your meal. They have a great selection of rice, sauces, protein meats and tofu. I had the Busan rice base, sesame sauce, and tofu large bowl. This filled me up fast and had some left. Next time I am going to try the Korean BBQ.

So I decided to try Itaewon after searching google for a high rated Korean bbq place since I haven’t been able to find many good places around this area. I had the large sized bowl with fried rice, edamame, sweet corn, bulgogi, and fried chicken. It was all really good! The downside is that my food was extremely cold. Like not warm at all. Other than the rice. That really kind of put a damper on my eating experience, especially being that it’s a chilly windy day and I was really looking forward to a hot bowl of comfort food. I would recommend this place, but only if I could ensure that the food was going to be hot and fresh once I got it. Maybe get it to go and warm it up at home?

Well worth a visit. I chose to dine-in, and was pleased. Order your base, then your vegetable choices, then sauce, and lastly protein. Also their wings are tasty if you get them before they run out. The staff was friendly and helpful, don't hesitate to ask questions. No photos from this visit, but I will return again and will have some then.

I wanted to like it but didn’t. I ordered the large online with the Hongdae Noodle, some veggies and the tofu, and with Gochujang Sauce. The flavor came out with a strange bitterness. Maybe another combo would be better. I also ordered a side of Mandu that I did not receive. Since I saw it wasn’t in the bag I asked about it and was told that it was inside of my bowl - it was not
