Li Ming's Global Mart

I was in wow shopping here. They had so much stuff to choose from. There was plenty of staff, well stocked shelves, and hot authentic Chinese food sold when you walked in. ( I haven't seen a real Peking duck hanging in years.) I went for some fresh fish and depending on what kind of fish you want, they pull it out the water and kill it for you right there. They had some fish I have never seen/heard of before. There entire meat department was impressive. If you're into Korea BBQ, they already have some meats sliced up for you and put into containers. I saw Pork belly, and thin sliced brisket. There were also 2 other meats in the same area. I was on a time limit and couldn't explore like I wanted but I'll definitely be back. They had 5 registers open. The lines looked long but went fast.

Good selection of what appears to my mostly unaccustomed eye to be Chinese products. A fair amount of Korean products as well, but not as many as I had hoped. I found the hawthorne candy I was looking for and the staff were very helpful in that search so that was good. Also, it had gluten free soy sauce which is rather hard to find.

The "Go To" place for Asian food. They carry almost everything there with a larger portion of Chinese style ingredients. I found a knife sharpening stone and lots of Chinese style kitchen hardware. There is a selection of Thai, Japanese, Korean ingredients. Their hot foods section has fresh soy milk and crueller（油條）! The half duck purchased from here was very tasty! Their snow pea tips ( 大豆苗）was freshly picked and only needed a quick rinse before cooking. No extra work to pick out the old stems. They even carry burdock root!

I always enjoy going to this place for your non traditional food. It’s mostly the Asian/Korean sort of genre food and grocery store but they have some really cool and good food in there. The building holds a special place in my heart cause it used to be a Circuit City and a store I enjoyed going to in Durham. Anyway they have cool food and a nice business

Great supermarket for Asian groceries. Most Southeast Asian products are from the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. Malaysian and Indonesian products are sold here but varieties are limited. 11/1/2021: Bakery is now open under new management. I am so happy that my bun cravings are met once again. Looks like a good varieties.

I love the huge variety of noodles that can be found here...much more than in an American grocery store. This store is pretty good sized with lots of food, drinks and housewares. They have a large variety of oils and sauces that are great for making an authentic Asian meal. There's also a hot food bar, but I haven't tried any of that yet. I will say that there is a pretty strong fish odor (they have fresh seafood) that hits you when you walk in but once you're there for a little bit it's not as noticeable.
