This visit was about a week ago. We were very excited to try this place out but due to some confusion it didn’t go as planned. The prices are very tricky and I couldn’t understand why i paid 12.99 for only 2 sides on a platter. They charged me extra for all the meats i got on the platter. Upon asking, i had about a 10 minute conversation with the employees and they were confused too lol. Not that I didn’t or couldn’t pay high price for food but at least make it easy for customers to know what they are paying for.
Food was okay but it got cold because of that conversation i had with them. They charged me $4.99 for a single pita i mean come on! I have been to a dozen restaurants and expensive ones but this didn’t fit in right. 🤦🏻♀️
Anyways, restaurant is nice and location is good too. I just couldn’t get it that they are very under rated.

I am beyond impressed with Neomonde! My first visit to Neomonde was enjoyable and inspiring. From the moment i walked in, i felt positive energy and saw the cleanliness of this establishment. There are many Mediterranean restaurants in the triangle, but this one is unique because of its prime location, service, and food options. The Store Manager (Mazen)was professional, cheerful, and patient, and I saw all the same positive qualities in his staff.
I look forward to returning soon and bringing some friends. Keep up the great work Neomonde!!

We love Mediterranean food and this restaurant and store hit the spot on a cold afternoon in Durham. The jalapeno hummus, the flatbreads, etc, all didn’t disappoint. One of the kabab dishes was overcooked (maybe that’s the way they like it in the south!). Happy to have discovered it.

Best Mediterranean food I have had since relocating to Virginia! Their selection is unparalleled, fresh and flavorful. I highly suggest making this a stop while exploring beautiful Durham, North Carolina!

First the Platters don’t come with rice unless you ask and they will charge extra money for it
Second with no rice they will give you a small pice of Bread with your plate.
And the price is sooo expensive for some plastic spoons and forks.
Sweets look good taste 🤢.
Me coming from another state I’ll give this mediterranean food a -5 compare to what I eat there.

I got what I asked for, nothing more and nothing less. The people working before close were lovely and helpful but that wasn't my issue.
For $17.50 I received a stone cold lamb kebab and exactly the two sides I asked for in the mimimun plural amount. For what was referred to as "a platter" I thought something else was rolled in to make it a combo, something cheap and filling or at least warm.
In the end I felt a bit robbed.

This place is LEGIT! You must try the cilantro-jalapeño hummus. Stop here before heading next door to POUR Taproom. Evening well spent in the heart of Downtown Durham.

Ordered the Steak Kabobs. This style of food isn't part of my normal food rotation. Needless to say, I really enjoyed it. The restaurant is clean and food was fresh
