The truck entrance is on Neville ST behind bullcity design warehouse. Fast unloading, no overnight parking on site. Good luck y’all ✌️

Every time I drink counter culture coffee it starts off tasting great then as soon as the temperature goes down a little bit, the flavor disappears and the coffee gets sour.
Ive tried about five different coffees from you guys and they all have the same result.
When I've had the espresso its extremely tart and sharp.

So glad that Durham has such a solid company that makes its coffee available throughout the city. Not only is the coffee fantastic, but the company is also committed to sustainability. I plan to buy their coffee on a regular basis for home brewing! I've tasted their coffee at several coffee shops around the city, and it's always been excellent.
Went to cupping today and it was a good time! The staff was friendly and informative.

I enjoyed their free Friday tasting/cupping/tour. When I shared my home roasting interest with the company's founder, Brett Smith, he provided a tour of the roasters and gave me a sample of Perennial Blend green beans. Now I can compare my amateur efforts with the coffee I cupped and bought. It was a fun morning.

*This review is for the bagged coffee that I purchased.* I have tried four or five different types of Counter Culture coffee and my absolute favorite is the Hologram blend. I love a good medium-dark roast with strong chocolate notes, and Hologram is perfect. I recently visited the Sweet Donkey coffee shop in Roanoke, Virginia, because they serve Counter Culture coffee and the Hologram was delicious.

I’ve thought of a few slogans for Counter Culture coffee. “There’s joy in them there beans”. “Wired.” “Starbucks’ worst nightmare.” “Identifying as good coffee since ...” “Fighting bad coffee since...”

Do you like the taste of coffee? Do you like the smell of coffee? Do you want to know every scrap of information about where your coffee comes from and how it is grown? If you said yes to some or all of these things, you will love Counter Culture. After buying some of their beans at Whole Foods I wanted to find out more. Every variety of coffee they have (especially African varieties) are the best tasting coffees I've ever sipped. They do coffee cuppings where you can sample and talk about new roasts and coffee tours to see how they roast the beans. You can sign up for a subscription like I did to taste new varieties each month!

I just got back from their public Friday cupping so that's what this review is for. The people who put this on deserve five stars for their knowledge and friendliness. What I didn't like was that there was close to 25 people in the small room. It made the experience less personal and frankly a bit annoying (trying to fight to the cups for a taste). Not enough coffee cups for everyone to have the full experience of the cupping. I didn't drink any coffee before hand either Which was a mistake. I got 5 spoonfuls of coffee before they moved onto the tea tastings (I don't drink tea). Didnt really enjoy any of the coffees they displayed but everyone else seemed to. Maybe they should have a sign up online or something to lighten the crowds.
