Reading some of the other reviews, maybe the time of day or how busy they are has something to do with it. My wife and I came at a real slow time, in fact we were the only people there which made us a little nervous, but we were looking for something different anyhow. I had veggie platter and my wife one of the meat selections. The service was helpful, fast, polite. The food was more than either of us could finish. I very much enjoyed the bread. Since we had the place to ourselves, it was a very nice quiet meal for us. We left feeling like we ate happy food and would go back. I wish I had bought a loaf of fresh bread to take home...maybe two. It is not a "commercialized" restaurant, which we preferred, though some people may see it differently. The experience was almost like visiting one of our relatives homes and having them cook for us....which is exactly what we were looking for.

I went here to try the Iranian kabobs. I was very disappointed with the meal.. The Kubideh was burnt and dry. The chicken kabob was lackluster. The portions for my 13 Dollar combo kabob plate were tiny. I really felt like I got ripped off. The pictures they have inside the establishment of the food look nothing like what you will actually get. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone honestly. Want good Persian food, try Flame Kabob or Pom Kitchen. They are the real deal.

I ate at this restaurant for the first time today and the customer service was terrible. I asked the cashier simple questions about several items on the menu and he acted like I was bothering him. I ended up ordering the vegetarian platter with grape leaves, hummus and tabouli. It was awful. The pita bread was cold and hard and the grape leaves taste funny as well. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody especially when there is another Mediterranean restaurant in the same plaza. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant when I went in around 5:00pm and I should have taken that as a sign.

The new management really took a toll on this place. The quantity of the food was abysmally low considering the price. The food was dry, the pita was burned and I had a hard time swallowing it. Delivery took over an hour. Though, the lamb tasted good in the tiny quantity it was avaliable in. Never ordering here again.

I always have a good experience when I go here. First time my fiancee (now wife) and I went our food was kind of forgotten about, but it did come out. We have spoken to the owner before and he is a very nice fellow. The food is one of the best mediterranean food I've had in the area. It does get a bit crowded during lunch on the weekdays though. Highly recommended!

I got to this place at 5:30 PM on a week day, where it is at in RTP it should be packed for a post work dinner crowd- I was the only person.
The menu is on the wall and covers the standard Mediterranean fare you would expect.
The pita is bad. It is tacky and stale.
The rice is also bad, poorly cooked and crunchy.
The chicken kabob was good, the meat for the gyro was dried and chewy like it had been on the spit far too long.
The salad dressing was vinaigrette and not good.

Worst Kabob Experience ever. 1) Half the items on the menu did not exist. I drove 20 miles to get a Persian dish they advertise on their website but didn't have. Didn't have any of their Persian dishes.
2) I ordered the Koubideh. The ends were burnt and rest of the one piece kabob for 10 dollars was dry as hell.
3) I asked for a grilled tomato. The guy hands me one he had grilled before for yesterday or something that he took out from the fridge. I ate a refrigerated grilled tomato.
4) All the food they had on display was dry on old.
Only their Tabouleh was half decent
They run their restaurant like they hate it.

The meat in the gyro was good. The rest, not so much. It was hard to taste anything but the meat. No onion flavor, could not taste the feta and the sauce had little to no flavor and was watery. The chairs were uncomfortable. Not going back.
