Italian Pizzeria Restaurant

Pizza is good but I am extremely disappointed with their garlic bread it is literally just a hoagie roll with garlic butter on it. It just felt cheap and lazy. Took 30 min for my pizza and mozzarella sticks after they told me 20min but when I saw that I was just like wow. Other food is still good but I would never order that again

This place lost our business today. Before the pandemic we would go out of our way to get subs and pizza at Italian Pizzaria but after our experience, never again. I don’t know what happened with management or ownership but the changes are drastic. The quality of food is just so bad. The chicken cheesesteak was disgusting, no flavor, tasted like boiled chicken. The Italian sub had little to no redeeming qualities, I could throw basic meat (which is all it is, not quality) on a hunk of bread. The dressing? Blah. And the pizza was revolting. It looks like they made pre-made cheese pizza and then just tossed the CANNED, rubbery toppings on as you order. Just pathetic. To add insult to injury, I had to remind them after 25 minutes that I was waiting there still, as if it weren’t obvious. I had my two young kids with me who had just about lost it waiting for them to give me my order, which as it turns out was just sitting on top of the oven. Never again.

Pizza here is my favorite in all of NC and every other state I have visited. Crust is perfect crisp, cheese is a little greasy and tomato sauce is perfect!!!! I will always stop here if I'm in town and so should you. Since 2014 I have eaten here and it's always consistent. Hats off to you guys!! Love you!

The Italian Pizzeria has become somewhat of a local legend around these parts. It has lasted and seen many other businesses come and go. 30+ years speaks for itself as well as these photos of genuine Italian style pizza. My only small nuance is that it's time for a dining room upgrade. Other than that I would definitely recommend.
