Does seem like something wrong with this specific store. Their dough seems a bit off, sometimes too chewy, sometimes a little bitter. One time their cash register wasn't working. The line is sometimes long, so it seems like the employees don't really need to care. Unfortunately this is really the closet store to me living in Chapel Hill. Just have low expectations if you're ordering here.

Visiting North Carolina and had a hankering for a signature Auntie Anne’s Pretzel. I found the closest one and drove the 15 minutes to the south point mall. Every other Auntie Anne’s I’ve been to I’ve been able to smell the shop before i see it. Here, this was not the case. Luckily I stumbled upon the shop and hopped in line. When I first tried to order they informed me that they had no pepperoni items and it’d be a 10-12 minutes. I came back then and finally ordered. The pretzel was not good. Something about the dough seemed wrong and it did not taste good. I’m just glad that this auntie Anne’s isn’t the one back home! Whoever runs this joint clearly has no desire to be in the pretzel baking industry. These pretzels lack passion!

I was so excited to get a cinnamon pretzel with no butter like I get every time I go to other auntie Annes but the guys were very mocking towards me and made it clear this would be a serious inconvenience so I said not to worry about it and left without the pretzel I had been looking forward to all day. I know special requests can be annoying, I really do, so I’m always very friendly & express how thankful I am & tip extra... but there’s really no need to be mean to people who just have different allergies or diets than you do

Stood in line and wanted a pepperoni pretzel but they were out, said they'd make more so I came back after 20 minutes, but just my luck they gave the last pretzel to the woman in front of me! The nice man working there told me it'd be another ten minutes so I came back again and he just gave me the pretzel for free. I felt bad about taking it but also very grateful to him. I didn't get his name but thank you!

Ordered 2 drinks and 2 pretzel cups the pretzels were old. My drink wasn't what I ordered. I asked for it to be fixed and was told no by Michael. While then started yelling at my wife and then sat on their prep counter giving my wife dirty stares and yelling at us. Super rude and will never go back to this location.

It was National Pretzel Day, and my wife and I stopped by to get a free pretzel. We didn't know that a coupon was required for the deal, but the manager, Oliver, offered to cover the cost of our pretzel. We would've been perfectly fine paying the cost for the pretzel; however, he didn't hesitate to take care of us. Thank you, Auntie Anne's and Manager, Oliver! Friendly staff, and great food. We will come visit again soon!

I usually love auntie ann's but my husband and I waited in a very long line (not an issue obviously it is yummy) and when we got our large pretzel nuggets there was a black hair in them that looked like it had been cooked with the pretzels. That pretty much ruined it for me for a while. Their lemonade is delicious though.
