The best of the best. A little gem, hidden away, in this shopping center. Just Good Food. That simple. Great taste in their chicken dishes and beef (tacos) Yeah, I'm saying it, done restaurants over season their ground beef and some places under-season and burn their ground beef. (or prep it on a burned griddle???) Either way, the basic menu items are prepared, with GREATNESS, here. I'm making my way around the menu as I'm in the area to eat. But so far, all my meals have been prepared and cooked with good-caring-love. I love this place. Veggies and side items seem to be fresh, also.

About to destroy this take-out! The Savior of North Durham when it comes to those looking to satiate their craving for consistently-delicious Mexican food! Want to get a buzz without leaving your home? Have a mango margarita delivered to your house. Extremely fair portions for the price. Also -- you can tell the quality of a Mexican restaurant by the quality of their chips & salsa -- and boy will the bar get set high for you after you try theirs (which always come with a side of delectable, savory-sweet white cheese sauce in addition to the salsa). Very personable staff, too. I always prefer a more "home-cooked," not-withholding-the-spice flare to Mexican fare -- these guys deliver that in droves. Only difference is that they aren't hit-or-miss like a lot of other hole-in-the-wall places -- they're running a fully professional, volume-based business, but instead of watering things down like so many other Tex-Mex style restaurants, they're providing you with food that tastes like it was prepared in your kitchen by an extremely talented Mexican chef.

Del Rancho is one of my favorite North Durham restaurants, hands down. I've eaten there a number of times over the years, and they never disappoint. I love their chimichangas, and when I can dare myself to try something new, it is always amazing! Try them out, and you're sure to love them as much as I do!

Food was good, my disappointment was when the bill arrived, both our entrees we're over $2.00 more than the presented menu prices. Inquired about this with our server, his explanation was that there were new menu prices and the menu would be printed in 2 months. I visited for the first time and it will be my last. The price on the menu is what I expect to pay for what I order.
