Amazing huge bowl of pho! The broth is perfect, plenty of onions and cilantro. Huge serving of meat and noodles. The taste of the pho is perfect. The serving size for a large is huge! The restaurant can't seat many people so it's great for groups. The restrooms are very clean! Drove very far to check this restaurant and very glad I did. I'm looking forward to many more visits to this happy gem of a restaurant, Saigon Grill.

If you want Phó then come here! Rich broth, plenty of noodles, not skimpy on the protein. Flavors are abundant. Super cheap! Im talking ridiculously cheap for the portions and quality! The basil they bring you is soooo fresh and aromatic! Bean sprouts??? FRESH! Stiry fry veggies are crisp, fresh, and flavorful! I would say best Phó I've had outside of NYC! Seriously a hidden gem in Durham! The staff are old country vietnamese, so don't expect laughs and talk time. Very too the point, but SERIOUS ABOUT THEIR FOOD! A+++

Was very skeptical about trying this place but glad I did was very good. I got the Saigon special PHO , brisket was chewy and broth was the best I think in Durham. Owner- waiter was a little grumpy food is definitely worth going.

I love Saigon Grill. The food is consistently delicious, high quality and inexpensive. The people who work there are also very nice. I haven't been to every restaurant that serves pho in the Triangle but Saigon Grill makes the best one I have had so far. The vermicelli bowls are pretty good too, but it's hard to order anything other than the pho.

Experience 3/5. The dining area tables were clean aside from the walls, dead bugs and 20 year old cobwebs glued to the windows outside and separated only by a thin sheet of poorly fitted glass. When the wind blows, dust and particles from the sidewalk out front come in through the drafty windows onto our table, contaminating our food. The "Grumpy Old Vietnamese" man seems to have an extremely short temper. Maybe thats because he is the cashier/cook/waiter/dish cleaner all by himself? I watched him shouting at a young chinese couple when my wife and I were there. The girl had gone to pay but didn't have enough money on her card. He is yelling and slamming the debit card reader, calling her "stupid girl". The spineless guy she's with doesn't defend her as this grouchy old vietnamese guy jerks her card from her hand and slides it angrily 8 or 10 times as hard as he can through the card reader. "See? Stupid girl. Card not work!" And he tosses it at her like she's a dog. The girl is clearly shamed and blushing in embarrassment as he ridicules her in front of all the other customers who stop talking or eating to watch this guy berate the couple. The boyfriend pays and they leave as quickly as possible. That could be you or your wife next time. Price 4/5. The price for the Pho is fair. But 2 vietnamese springrolls the size of a finger for 4 bucks? Uh no. The food is great but the guys attitude is enough that I might not comeback.

Always a great experience at Saigon Grill. The owner is a little rough around the edges, older gentlemen maybe prior military but he is nice and he does it all himself, including waiting and bussing the tables. The food is great!! Always a go to in my book. The pho is always hot always delicious and I never leave disappointed or hungry.

A very clean and pleasant atmosphere, the food was some of the best I've ever had and there was a lot of it! I have a medium Pho bowl with the sliced eye roast; the broth had a really nice spice flavor to it. The shrimp rolls were full of very fresh shrimp, cilantro and sprouts; the dipping sauce was a nice compliment to the rolls. This was my 1st time; it certainly will not be my last. I plan to make this place a regular on my weekly eats list! I highly recommend the Saigon Grill, if your in the Durham area this is a must try kind of place!
