Las Palmas is THE place in Durham I go to for mexican food. I go there somewhat often and love the food and the people that work there. The experience is awesome and they never let me down. I strongly suggest the fried chicken chimichangas or the nachos supreme! Also, I sometimes feel like I could just sit at a table and eat the chips and salsa for a whole meal because they are so good!

There are no lack of Mexican places to choose from in Durham. I have been coming here for years and it never lets me down. Nothing hugely unique about the food or atmosphere, but ingredients are good, service is great and I have never had a bad experience here in last 10 years. Hands down favorite Mexican spot in Durham.

This is the average Mexican restaurant. The service is fine, the food is fine, the atmosphere is fine. It is nothing spectacular or anything, but we have been there about four times and will be going again. The prices are great, and the specials are actually something you want to order.

Do not eat here!!! Taco salad for lunch. Salad was soggy wet from all the water on the lettuce. The ground beef was horrible. The taco was chewy and stale. The salsa is miserable. I'm from AZ, and this is not mexican.

I've always went here I know for 20 years. They used to all be together at oak grove. But one brother opened the one on duke street and that was by far my favoritest Mexican restaurant ever. I'm just tryin to figure out what happened why did they tear it down???😢😢😒
