First time ordering here. I placed order online and drove over to pick it up. You can only pick up the food in the drive through line. The restaurant doesn't allow anyone inside for dining or picking up food. The food was warm and order was correct. The vegetable spring roll, shrimp spring roll, and crab rangoon wasn't as flavorful as I've had at other places. The hibachi salmon and shrimp with steamed rice was good.

The little building may not look like much & honestly, a 94 food rating made me nervous, but I was really craving hibachi chicken. I also know that a rating can be a result of older buildings regardless of the food. The food was really good & just what I wanted and I always get two meals from it. Next time, I may go back to the combo chicken & steak. If I noticed anything it's that there wasn't as much chicken as normal, but I think that's just the ti.e we're living in. Otherwise the food was good.

Okay, I judged this book by it cover and I was wrong.
Yes - its a bit of mess outside, but hot dang is this food good. Super friendly folk running the show and really reasonable prices for the massive portions they give you...
if you just want some good ol hibachi chicken and steak with white sauce - def recommend coming here.

Perfect! I was shocked how great the food was here! Don't let the rough landscaping turn you away! Very friendly staff, which is rare in Durham. I'd give ten stars!!❤️❤️❤️

Typical Americanized Japanese. Food quality is consistently average over the few times I've ate here. The last time woman working drive through window was rude, impolite, with an obvious attitude. Overpriced for what you get. Won't be back to this restaurant.

Absolutely the best Japanese food you can get in Durham! Don't waste your money at Karama or Kanki, this is better and consistently good! Don't let the landscaping scare you away, it's awesome!

I didn't know they didn't do walk-ins anymore only drive thru and pre-order. Only saw that when I walked up to the front door, so I turned back and was about to walk to my car when they called over to one of the open windows and showed me the new menu options and took my order.
They were really nice and kind.
