The pandemic has caused a lot of fast food restaurants to lose employees whether it’s through low wages or economic downturn.
The service my husband and I received at this Burger King was nothing but phenomenal!
The young woman who helped us asked how we were doing and my husband and I responded and asked the same. Her ink was nice too. 😉
It’s just nice to be nice. Please remember that the next time you drive up to the window!
We didn’t know what she might have been going through but the fact that she cared enough to ask us how we were doing meant the world and we wanted to make sure she knew we cared too!🌹

Y'all, don't sleep on BK breakfast. Service was fast and friendly, the hash rounds were a far better value than McD's/Wendy's and cooked crispier on the outside than Chick-fil-A/Hardee's, and their ham egg & cheese croissandwich was great. The coffee was not fantastic, but it's about on par for a drive-thru brew. Get the app for perks and freebies.

The hiring shortage is very apparent. Over 30 minutes from getting in line until we got our food delivered to where we were parked and waiting. Staff very friendly and doing the best they can.

Worst drive thru experience ever! Placed an order, waited 15mins to get to the window. The lady at the window tried to give me a drink which I did not order so I kindly informed her that was not with my ordered and repeated what I did. She gave me the bag and I left. While driving home I opened the bag to find it was not what I ordered. I drove back and parked to go inside to find the lobby doors to be locked. So I then proceeded to get back in the drive thru line, waited another 15 mins to get to the window. I explained to the lady that I was given the wrong order. Without even so much as an apology she snaps back saying "I can't take that food back". Turns around grabs a bag (which had the correct order in it) and hands it to me then says " Next time say something at the speaker". I replied explaining that I tried to come in to address the matter but the doors were looked. Her reply " Well why don't you apply for a job here so we can open the lobby"! I can appreciate the fact that workers are in short supply but such a level of rudeness is completely ridiculous.

You can always tell when a fast food place is badly managed if they charge for dipping sauces, which this place does. This reeks of "I'm not throwing food away just because it fell on the floor." If they're penny pinching on the sauces, what else are they cutting corners on to save money? These ridiculous practices are of course, then, foisted on the employees, and these tactics are never enforced in a respectful way.
So yeah, it says a lot about your restaurant if you charge for dipping sauces.
Edit: Also, after looking at the five star reviews, the top two use the same tagline and talk about the same stuff. Astroturf much?

I visited this location tonight September 4, 2021. Part of my order was a small order of onion rings. As I paid I asked the associate/cashier if I could have honey mustard sauce instead of the zesty sauce. She ignored me and handed me my receipt. When she handed me my order I checked the sauce in my bag. It was a zesty sauce. I explained that I wanted to exchange it for a honey mustard sauce because I am allergic to an ingredient in the zesty sauce due to my autoimmune disease ( it’s actually two ingredients). She proceeded to tell me that substitutes are not allowed and I would have to pay for another sauce. I said never mind and left. I think that is a terrible policy for people who have allergies. I’m unsure if this franchise will change their policy but be mindful of their business practices of not allowing substitutes due to allergies. I’ll continue to go to the other locations in Durham who allow substitutes for people with allergies. This was my last time visiting this location and encourage others to seek another location to be a patron because their policy is not welcoming and is low key discrimination.
