Went here 2 days in a row. Cold food last night and waited forever both visit. Really craving the fish I used to eat when I was pregnant. But don't come here in a hurry. I've gone through drive-thru both times and it's a HOT LONG MESS!!. Got poor customer service today too. SMH

I was very disappointed with the service, and especially the food. I couldn't eat the shrimp,it was hard as a brick. I spoke to the manager. He was very unprofessional, very rude to me. I told him I will tell all my friend about my visit. Being there were 2 peoples in the back. I waited 15 minutes for this. Unexpectable. Poor service!!

I've been coming to Captain D's since 1975 the one on 54/55 I can tell a change over the years I am a white person and they are very much discriminatory anytime I have went through the drive-thru the last three or four years I have waited to wait almost anywhere from 35 to 45 minutes for an order anybody in front of me has ordered and gotten their order within five to 10 minutes I was married to a black man and when I would take him with me in line we were out of there in 10 minutes now when I would go by myself I was in and out of there within 45 for an hour I hate to say this about a business but they are definitely discriminatory against white people I love Captain D's and I have patronus this business for years since I was a little girl and this really disappoints me as I said when I have my black husband with me process is no simple I get it out of there 5 to 10 minutes when I'm buying myself as a white woman I am anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour!!!
And it was offend some people but there's the premise discrimination on both sides and this is definitely a discrimination in business!!!

Last time I visited the food and service was great, however, this time I drove a while to get to this location only to find that they closed at least 20 minutes early....

My food is always served hot and delicious. This location offers the Senior meal any day of the week. Other locations only offer the senior meal once a week. Parking is available close to the building. Usually not crowded. The lobby is open for limited seating at this time. All drinks and condiments must be picked up at the counter. Seating is spaced out for social distancing.

This location on 54 in Durham NC is less than desirable. I waited 10 minutes in the drive thru just to place my order. Then another 12 minutes to get my food. That was discouraging and I probably won't go back. When I finally got to the window I asked what took so long and was told, "all new staff." Also they have a sanitary grade of 93. But to my surprise, 20 minutes later when I got home, my food looked great and tasted fantastic. Looks like the cook is doing great, but management needs to make some changes with a better team on speed and customer service.
