Golden Corral

Avoid this location. I have had much better experiences at GCs in Virginia. This is the first one I have been to in North Carolina, and it was a poor first impression. It costs 11.99 for each adult dinner buffet, plus 2 bucks more for soft drinks or tea. I never knew it could costs 14 bucks per person at GC. Lots of items, such as the rice & vegetables, breakfast, and select meats had the impression of being under the heat lamps for hours. The dessert bar had house flies circling around it and landing on food. Only the salad bar and the chocolate fountain station seemed fresh. The staff mostly seemed nice, but the store appearance was neglected. There were too many negatives to this place, and I will not eat at this location ever again. I genuinely like dining at Golden Corral, and I hope that other locations in the area are of better quality.

Please do not go to this location very disappointing and they are in need of an extreme makeover. The food was not appealing and looks like some of the food had been sitting out for a while. The bathroom was so disgusting tissue all on the floor and the toilets were very nasty. This location I feel is a discredit to the other Golden Corrals. I would prefer to travel to Hwy 55 or Glenwood to have fresh food and clean restrooms an I live 10 minutes away from Roxboro Rd.

Just left this place. It was not as good as it was the first time we visited this particular Golden Corral. When we sat down we noticed a pitcher of tea that was at an empty table. It sat there for at least thirty minutes before it was picked up. Our plates began to pile up at our table. No server stopped to pick empty/dirty dishes. We had to get up and refill our own drinks. We noticed a server staring at us. It almost seemed as if she was contemplating whether or not to help us. We witnessed the same server dig in her armpit, yes her armpit then proceed to refill napkins on the tables.She did so without stopping to wash her hands. Moments later we spotted the same server walking back and forth with a cigarette in her hand. A couple of women came to the booth directly in front of us about an hour after we arrived. The armpit server went promptly to their table. She NEVER once acknowledged our existence. Finally after there was barely enough room to place hands on the table we flagged down a server from another section. Her name was Emily she was EXTREMELY nice, professional and polite. If we ever visit again, which I highly doubt I would asked to put in Emily's section. She turned a horrible experience into a bearable one. And before I forget it was not crowded or busy.

This GC was smaller than any I've seen and had less customers, little turnover, and a lot of food that looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while. I picked from the freshest looking items, and my meal was tasty enough, but the food poisoning and multiple days of gastric misery I could have gladly lived without.

Traditional All American buffet fully stocked with all the foods that you love to enjoy. Classic American desserts and a chocolate fountain. It is a full-service buffet so service by wait staff is on par with a traditional buffet perfect location for sports teams and traveling buses steep driveway coming in large vehicle should park at bottom of hill

When entering the business the drinking fountain leaked all over my hand I reported this to the cashier and told her this was unsanitary she acted if she did not care There was food all over the floor and no one cleaning up. All of the vegies were under cooked the small hamburgers were red inside, the macaroni was dry the tilapia was like rubber. OVER ALL THE FOOD SUCKED I have to also mention that we were there for 35 minutes which during this time we never received any refills or was checked on to see if we needed anything There was no fried chicken or yeast rolls the entire time we were there. the employees acted as if they did not give a rats ass if they were even there or not. IN MY OPENION THIS STORE WILL NOT SERVIVE LONG WITH THIS TYPE OF MANAGEMENT.

Horrible!!!!!!! They have bugs crawling under the table told the waitress and she didn't even care. The food section was nasty our silverware still had food on them. The dishes was not clean. Poor owner ship. I think the department of Heath need to come to the store and check. Don't like it and will not be back ever
