Roma Pizza Shop

We got the meat pizza. And then take a little while for the pizza and chicken tenders. It was Christmas Eve to so that may have played a factor. The pizza was actually pretty tasty. I was impressed. I really enjoyed the Buffalo tenders. They were nice and juicy with a good buffalo flavor and the ranch and bleu cheese added to it. If I'm ever back in this area or on this side of town I may stop by. And I also love that they have a super size or what you call an extra large pizza which is really huge.

So was trying to get a footlong Philly delivered across the street from this location. They said 10.99 was not enough to deliver for, so I asked them if I added a small pizza to the order if that would cover the cost for delivery. I was informed by the fellow whom I assume must be named Chip, that they do not deliver small pizzas at all. I said not even with a combined order? Was told no. I asked to speak to a manager and he said sure. Then, he laid the phone down and continued to have a long conversation with a fellow employee. Leaving me there on the phone and never once requiring about any manager. I know this because I could hear their conversation clearly. This all happened on 2/17/22 at around 8:30 pm. My sister has just broken her ribs, and can not travel at all as she is alone. This place needs better employees. Fire Chip!

We have enjoyed pizza from Roma's for several years. The first thing we noticed when the pandemic began was that no one was wearing a mask while working in the restaurant. I even called and spoke with a manager regarding this. He assured me the matter would be addressed and taken care of. We went back a few more times but again no mask seen on workers. The pizza also started going down hill with less and less ingredients, cheese and toppings added to the pizza. Sadly, we no longer go there for these reasons. Hopefully they will make some needed changes and get back up to speed one day.

The Mediterranean pizza is a go to for me. This time around, it was just the right amount of crunch. I have seen some unflattering reviews in here. I hope that I never experience it myself since it's a challenge to find a relatively decent pizzeria nowadays. I imagine it's all down to individual experiences.

The good: The crust was good. Order was available for pickup at time estimate given. Cheese was tasty. The bad: Sauce tasted like cheap tomato sauce. Pepperoni was undercooked. Salad came w prepackaged Kens Italian dressing rather than something made in house. Pizza had portion that was cracked up crust w nothing on it. See picture. Need a little more qa on the product.
