Trattoria Salve

This was great! Growing up in North Jersey and knowing great Italian food, this is as close as I've come here! The pasta, cheesecake, tiramisu and cannoli are homemade!!!! We always test a place by the bread they serve. So good with eco and balsamic dip. Then eggplant parmesan crisp and cheesy, sauce fresh and pasta cooked perfectly. Chicken marsala with fresh vegetable and roasted potatoes. The chicken was super tender and the cramini mushrooms were great. Cheesecake to die for!! Jonny please stay forever! Steve and Christine

Great new Italian restaurant we were lucky to find, easy walk from Residence Inn. The Fritto Misto (pictured) with the fried lemons was wonderful! The Pappardelle Veal Bolognese was even better than the Mezzi Rigatoni, which had perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp and every bite was delicious. We are looking forward to returning often while in town.

I was very excited to try this new restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was inedible. I ordered the Carbonara and a pile of mush arrived in a bowl in front of me. The pasta was completely overcooked and the carbonara sauce did not taste good. It was a mess. I am fortunate that I have visited Italy on 4 separate occasions so I have had lots of exposure to traditional Italian food. This is not it. If you want good Italian, go to Gocciolna or Cucciolo. Even Olive Garden would be preferable. So very disappointed. We did receive good service.
