Smoothie King

The worst Smoothie King I’ve ever been to. Staff is extremely rude, and overall unprofessional. Arrived at this location and no one was upfront. There were women chatting in the back so I yelled “hello” a couple times and they just laughed and continued to ignore me. Y’all need to hire new personnel who are willing to do the job. Drove here from chapel hill. I didn’t get anything, completely wasted my time.

Been a regular customers in person and online. Almost a month now and this store had not given my refund after taking my money away. I ordered a couples of smoothie through the app. And waited for 2-3 hours of delivery time after it was confirm. We patiently waited and finally called the delivery driver if they had our ordered, only to tell us it will be soon. Then The delivery driver then canceled on us without call. Only show through the tracking delivery. We call the store the store to tell them our situation but nobody picked up. Then we drove there. Only to see the store was lock and a sign that they only take online orders due to low staff. We called again and nobody pick up then we email for support through smoothie king website. Tried to Explain the situation since im aware we gave to call for refund and they said they will solve our solution and ask for our order confirmation. Its been a month now and nobody help. Stole my me and my cousins money. I use to work at food and beverage and we had online orders for almost every food delivery app. There should have been a cancellation button. Or someone to responsibly call for support for peoples money. i use to work at this specific smoothie king years ago… these problems has not change nor improved for years now..

I can’t believe how rude these employees are. I am here now. Came to pick up some more lean 1 protein powder and order a smoothie. I was waiting in line and heard a knock on the door. It was a customer who had just gotten her smoothie and needed to grab a straw. The door was locked and I unlocked it to let her in, thinking it must have accidentally locked behind me. The male employee chastised me saying “don’t unlock my doors no more. I locked it for a reason.” I asked if they were closing or something. He said no and that they needed to catch up on orders. I can’t believe they would actually lock customers out instead of just explaining that there may be a slight wait while they catch up. And then to chastise me the way he did. Just wow.

Very unhygienic. Although our nation is taking many precautions to ward off the Corona Virus and we are all collectively doing the best we can with the resources at hand I cannot wrap my head around the lack of professionalism, organizational cleanliness or just simple common sense. Below you’ll find this tub of strawberries on the counter out where each person including myself whom ordered anything with strawberries was served out of. This tub is open, on the counter where each and every single customer who is picking up their order can pollute and contaminate.

I love smoothie king. This one in Durham doesn't have a Drive-thru like the one on University Drive. But it's okay because they have lots of goodies to buy inside. Gladiator protein. Protein cookies. All sorts of things. I got a chocolate activator shake yesterday with a scoop of peanut butter added to it. Delish! I will be a returning customer for sure!!
