Excellent chorizo tacos. Homemade chips are a little thicker and undersalted for my preferences. Excellent salsa bar to choose from.

Don't be afraid, the menu has English translations and the people are SUPER friendly! Food is fantastic . . . . hands down the best lengua tacos I've ever had.
Portions are large, price is great, and self-serve chips and massive salsa/fixings bar a great touch. Use caution though, the salsas are FIERY HOT!

Great food, great atmosphere, great music, great people, great service. ALL great as far as I saw except the deer staring at me while I ate. Creep factor: 12,000 Also, the highchair we had didn't have buckles but it worked out well enough

After trying chicken, beef, and chorizo dishes, I find that the only fish I go back for is the chorizo quesadilla made with the corn tortilla. it's definitely worth a try. I also plan to try the string beans. Rice & beans are a disappointment but the do have a tasty condiments bar.

I had the flour quesadilla with their pork for the meat and it was amazing. My friend had their Bistec and I took a bite of it and it was nice and tender. Next time i go i plan on ordering their tacos, but if their quesadilla was any indication, the tacos will be a hit as well.

Very first Mexican restaurant that appeared around 20 years ago, still there and still makes the best Mexican food in Durham, the food it's tasty. I am not Mexican, but all my Mexican friends love this place, they all claim it to be the most authentic Mexican food around. Try it.

Didn't go inside restaurant. Saw a cockroach greeting my son and I at the door and didn't have the nerve or stomach to go inside the newly renovated restaurant a couple days ago. Come on guys you gotta do better!

In my opinion these are the best tacos in the entirety of the triangle area. They serve authentic style tacos. You can get then American style but traditional is great.
