I don't understand what's with this place. The staff walk around vaping or are on their phones, not even at their stations or working on the food. They all have this angry agitated look on their face like they hate being there, and just to be talked to you have to practically call out for someone. Easily one of the slowest Wendy's in the area.

This Wendy’s is the slowest in Durham, all the staff do is play around and hardly do any work. As I write this review I’m in the Wendy’s right now. The drive-thru line was going into the street. I came inside for faster service and I see is a bunch of kids playing and laughing. This is Ridiculous!!!

This is the worst Wendy’s I have ever experienced. First, I sat at the window for about 20 MINUTES before the girl took my order. She is African American and wears a RED SCARF on head to work. When she finally said something, there was no “I apologize for the wait” or anything. She was very rude and sounded like she didn’t want to be there as she took my order. I placed my order (hot chicken sandwich combo) and it rung up as more than what was listed on the menu (not talking about tax). She told me it was because I got a drink. THE COMBO ALREADY COMES WITH A DRINK. She didn’t care to find out why it rung up as more.
I called about this and no one bothered to pick up the phone. It rang 8 minutes. They were not busy at all.
The African American girl who wears the RED SCARF who was taking orders at 4:39pm on 3/1/22 has the worst customer service I have experienced and I will never return here. This was my first and last visit. It has to be terrible if I took time to write a review.

I was disappointed with my potato, which was supposed to be butter, bacon, and cheese. There was no butter, and very little cheese or bacon. It was improved by adding my own sour cream from home. I’ve had better luck there in the past. Maybe it was just a bad night at Wendy’s.

Went in late on the 26st/27th of July about 12:30am. Wasn’t going to stop but I was hungry after work, so I bust a Uturn. Ordered the 4 for 4 I think it’s called, crispy chicken sandwich nuggets fries and drink. I asked for no ice in my pineapple mango which was in my drink when I pulled around. I never got a greeting not even my total. I handed him the money 5 and some change, told him my drink was without ice. He turned around made another drink handed it to me push my bag to me, when I tell you he never spoke one word to me, he didn’t. No hello, ok I’ll get you another with no ice, no thank you, no have a nice night. But you want 15.00 a hour, we all tired I understand I had just gotten off an 8 hour shift of driving and did resturant work back in the day, so I get it. So look at what my food looked like when I plated it at home.

I don't usually review places but I do feel obligated to say that when I order through the Wendy's app, I dread when the order is fulfilled by this location. I have not received a correct order once from this location, and it seems as though it is impossible to reach them by phone to correct any mistakes. As someone who generally enjoys Wendy's, I go out of my way to avoid this location whenever possible although sometimes I forget to make sure than an online order isn't being fulfilled by them. I would have much preferred being able to talk to someone in order to rectify the situation but I have not been able to get someone on the phone at the N. Duke location since January. Honestly I hope this location closes so that they don't end up getting any of my future orders
Edit: Well I once again had the north Duke location fulfill my order, which I would have hoped to avoid. There is some green stuff I didn't want on my baconator.

I pulled in late one night. Lobby was not open. I'm at the drive through counter to pick up my order and this lady proceeded to cut in front of me to say something about her order and the cashier person told her she needed to get back in line. She got upset and proceeded to back up and I had to blow my horn a couple of times to get her to stop because she was going to back up into me and hit me if she didn't.
If the lady had gotten out of her car and said excuse me but I have an issue/problem with my order can I go to the window ahead of you? I would have said sure no problem because lobby was not open. But the lady screamed and yelled at the window person and the were never disrespectful to her and she was extremely rude to them cursing at them calling them names and he kept his cool and remained very polite and told the lady to "have a wonderful rest of her evening"

The food was hot fresh and with multiple request on burgers they were all correct! Thanks for an Awesome Lunch this weekend and the spicy sandwich was probably the best one and freshest I’ve had all year !
