Unh Dairy Bar

The Dairy Bar was great. Isabella made me a fantastic burrito 🌯! The Bella burrito should be on the menu. Also had ice water that was real cold and super wet! Just how I like it. Luke had the turkey club 🥪. He liked it, quiet head down total consumption. He then proceeded to quaffing a hot 🍫 in record time. The Russians only gave him a 7.9, all others scored it at a solid 9.2! The DB is not just for students and faculty, you should check it out. Bump up your GPA, (Gobble, Procure,

DINING ROOM IS CLOSED. OUTSIDE SEATING ONLY. ICE CREAM IS GIFFORD’s, NOT UNH DAIRY ANYMORE. Outside is perfect if you just want ice cream. We went there for dinner with children and grandparents. You have to order at the outside window. All food is served in disposable containers. Loads of plastic. They do not have trays so you have to juggle your multiple containers to your table. Tables were sticky and dirty. There was no one wiping them down or any products provided to do it yourself. The food was average. Biggest bummer was that the ice cream is Gifford’s. We were recently at the U. Of Vermont dairy bar where all ice cream is made with milk from their dairy cows. Positives: The train came by a few times which was unique and entertaining. The weather was nice and being a part of a family gathering is always special.

Nice place to wait for a train. Nice place to have lunch. Nice place to have ice cream in the evening. Great ice cream. Good food. Good staff. Why not? The only odd thing, they are closed at weekends. So just when I have time to actually go, guaranteed, they are always closed. I work a long way from home, so evenings are difficult for me. But I guess they know their demographics. I am surprised they are closed when other ice cream places are busy though. I often see people checking the place out at the weekend.

Cool place to go right in the train station. The selection of ice cream flavors is really good. They will make a milkshake from any flavor. The prices are really good as well. This place also has food on the menu, but I did't taste it. There is also a bunch of history about the trains in and around that area as the location is the old train station. Really cool if you ask me.
