Good food and atmosphere, prices have become more reasonable than my previous visit (after the rebranding of the restaurant). Food was good but could use a little more flavours - seafood options were excellent. We had a few spritz drinks which were very good.
Visited with friends & we all enjoyed it. Warm welcome from helpful friendly staff. The menu was good & reasonably priced. We all enjoyed our visit & will be back. Thank you Antico!

I went to durham for the first time for my wife's birthday and I wanted to take her for dinner for a special place. I selected antico after going through some reviews. I think I made the right choice. The staff was amazingly friendly and well trained. No words to express how delicious the food is. This is a highly recommended restaurant for anyone who is interested in Italian food which has a good mix and variety of choices. Definitely a place to visit next time when in durham. Keep up the good work team. Cheers
Not the best salmon dish I've had in terms of flavour/quality, but definitely excellent presentation and service. Dessert was amazing all round though, thanks for having us.
A pretty fancy Italian restaurant in Neville's Cross, the penne all'Arrabbiatta was great, if a little under salted, and the brownie was tasty too. A good experience overall - worth checking out!
This was our first visit to Antico for our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised. Could not fault the food it was very tasty and filling. The staff were lovely - we even got free desserts due to a tiny incident when a bottle of wine was needed from behind our table so we had to stand up for a moment while they got it - I didn't bother us in the slightest and free dessert was a lovely gesture. The prices are very reasonable. Its quite warm in here so dress lightly. The atmosphere was lovely and we will definitely be back.
What a find. Delicious food, lovely friendly staff and great decor. Don't eat before you go - large portions and so very tasty and great quality.
Absolutely fab. Food was the best I had for a long time, service unobtrusive yet there when needed. Really a treat will definitely be going back. And very reasonably priced, especially early bird menu! Still great but early bird menu more limited
Antico went off some time ago and I stopped going . As a result
I decided after a break to try it one more time . I am so pleased that I did . Change of ownership has transformed this little gem back to its full glory . It’s buzzing again and with superb food . Best prawns and mussels in Durham cooked to perfection . The new owner and staff could not be more helpful. Fabulous !!!
Restaurant is stylish and comfortable. Front of house staff are professional, sociable and attentive.
The food is delicious and there is good variation on the menu. The price is a few quid more than its predecessor, so it's not necessarily a 'cheap and cheerful' meal out anymore, but you get what you pay for.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Durham or to those living locally, who are yet to give it a try.

Absolutely incredible! Ordered as takeout and still received restaurant quality. Large portions full of flavour and very filling. Worth every penny!
Probably the best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time... cooked to perfection... service amazing and wow... cheesecake to die for. Seriously you guys are great. Thank you for squeezing us in at the last minute too. That goes a long way in hospitality. Even had the privilege to meet your chef. Fantastic. You all have to try this place.

Went for a family meal for six tonight, all starters and mains were great and served well, the staff were great. The main I had, lobster ravioli was absolutely perfect to be honest and the whole table commented how nice the food was. It’s a little gem 5 minutes from the city centre, would definitely recommend
Great food and great vibe! It offers a happy hour set menu which is of a pretty good value too. Will definitely be back!
