The Ship Inn Restaurant

Have just come back from one of the loveliest meals we have had for a long time. The young man who greeted us was so nice and attentive and the waitress was lovely. The food was absolutely great. My granddaughter felt unwell so they put the food for her and her mum in plastic boxes for us to take away.We would definitely go there again

Update 18th July 23. An outstanding welcome from the Spanish Manager, apologies, can't remember his name. Was alone while waiting for a friend, made me feel comfortable and pleased to be there. Server was also above and beyond. Food was unfortunately, impressive. My friend had 'homemade ' chicken and bacon pie, large portion but awful soggy bottom which she couldn't eat. I had wagyu burger which was nice, a small amount of chips and cheap coleslaw, tiny portion. The staff are an asset, the food not so much. Free wifi and car parking. Had a lunchtime set 2 course meal for £10.95. Very healthy choices, grilled meats and salad with rice or pulses. Enjoyable, would return for an evening meal with wine or even a takeaway. Large car park in rear. Will completely close in August for staff holidays, don't remember dates.
