I was pleasantly surprised! After visiting this pub before I didn't like children running around whilst I ate my food so I chose to eat elsewhere.

Dropped in on a Friday night with 2 kids 2 adults. It was absolutely delicious, 100% recommend the cheese pot pie. Kids portions were big too!

I hadn't been in here for over 20 years it used to be a bit dark and dingy. It's now really lovely with excellent food. The lady behind the bar was lovely, friendly and helpful. The meat and onion pie - homemade- was lovely.
The staff are very friendly and polite, nothing seems too much for them. The pub is very clean and decorated to a very high standard and gives off a nice country home feeling. The food is phenomenal, best burger I've had in a long time (the photo does not do it justice). Would highly recommend this
