A good place to eat, a little expensive from a personal point of view for the portion size. Staff were polite although a little on the slow side. Overall the food we had was good quality. Would not put anyone off going there.

Great authentic Italian restaurant. Fabulous food and friendly staff. Not sure why it's called Elgar. Apart from a couple of pictures. No Elgar music. Just modern jazz. Elgar would have hated it but loved the food!

Don't be put off by the unprepossessing exterior. Inside is very chic and the food was a delight. The service is excellent but prices very reasonable especially the lunch menu.
