Comforting place in a good location. Efficient and friendly service, decent food with a good selection of beers on tap. They served one of the best Halloumi fries we have had. We also had salt and pepper calamari, lasagne, hunters chicken schnitzel, and the rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce. We re
Good food, friendly staff, not a huge menu but a fair selection. Served quite quickly too although it was a Tuesday and so not overly busy. Have been before a few times and would go again.
Popped in for lunch, not a fan of the beef sandwich but the fries, lasagna, pate and coffee were good. Close to lakes and a free car park. @Foodies_of_brum
Wonderful food, dog friendly, warm atmosphere inside, pretty garden area. A real find after a long walk around the fabulous countryside nearby. A great pub for a quick pint or a leisurely Sunday lunch.
What at amazing old wooden beamed pub / restaurant. You can park right opposite and enjoy a walk around Earlswood Lakes before a cold pint and amazing food . Definitely a must if you are in the Solihull area,.
Been here many times, lovely country gastro pub, big Car park opposite, good beer choice, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Beer garden is perfect for a sunny day in the countryside!
Food was excellent and plentiful. Staff very good. A first class dining experience
Never been here before but I’ll definitely be going again. Greeted at first site by the friendly bar staff. Great variety of drinks and top level service. I decided to go for the Rib eye steak which in my opinion was the best steak I’ve ever had. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager there called
Visited for a lovely evening meal. Food was very good and of high quality. Service was good too. Would recommend.
Absolutely stunning pub. Inside is elegant but inviting.a place where you could relax with a drink or enjoy a meal with friends or family. The beer garden is just about the right size even with the roads either side it's still quiet and they do not impose on the atmosphere. The food I had was excell
This used to be a local of mine in my young days so was nice to pop back here. Outside the same but inside has changed, for the better. Lovely seating areas indoor and out. Our waiter was very accommodating. Always checking we had everything we needed. Food didn’t come out rushed so was nice to sit
Met up here with friends for a fabulous eve meal. The 1st thing we all noticed is that we all drove past the pub, (because sadly due to the energy bills, it's no longer lit up like Blackpool illuminations!) We'd booked & it was a busy Tue's eve. We received a very warm & friendly welcome. 🤗 The wai
The best evening. Bogdan who served us was superb. Funny, attentive and bloody hard working. The food was beautiful. I had the best Old Fashioned cocktail. Great atmosphere, great location. Couldn't fault it. Our family also rated the meal, service and atmosphere. Love This place. Thank you to
Decent country pub. Nice people. Pleasant atmosphere. Parking. Outside seating. Worth the drive
Excellent pub with traditional English breakfast. Worth trying
Food was lovely, hot and well presented. Overall very happy with the experience. Would have been nice to have a drinks menu on the table or given to us as we had to ask. Would definitely return. Staff were friendly and helpful
There was a great selection of food on the menu and the meals we had were delicious. The staff were helpful. The only criticism I have is that I was not able to book a dog friendly area as it was greyed out on the app. It had been a while since we visited the Red Lion and I thought they used to ha
