Had a lovely lunch at this gem of a country pub before our walk nearby. Busy and stylish pub that is clearly popular. Had a huge steak burger, which was delicious. Will be back
Will go back and let u know more, but they were closing, and we just managed to persuade the staff to allow us a quick drink b4 they closed. They weren't overly happy, probably tierd, but we were served... back soon! As it looked very cute, cozy and calm!
Visited with family for Sunday lunch. The service and team were very friendly however were slightly let down as the food took ages to arrive. I think there was a delay in the kitchen. It was well handled but was not ideal. Lovely location

Lovely pub and on the day we visited plenty of room inside and out. Friendly staff and the food was delicious and highly recommended. The pub was very full as was the garden which meant that the pub is popular but this also meant that parking was an issue.
Food was delicious but would have liked more choice of vegetables on my plate.
Would certainly rate this pub though and would return.

Saturday lunchtime meal was brilliant, Mum, Mark, myself and Emma went to celebrate Gav's life with us. We had a lovely time remembering what stupid things were done back in the 80's, with MG Migets and as family nutters.

Visited the George for the first time today. The food was amazing, I had the chicken curry pie. Wow!!. The place is lovely with excellent staff. Worth every part of a 5 star review
Food was lovely, staff very accommodating and even brought out some scraps of beef for our dog Carlos. Would definitely visit again!
