We ate on a Saturday night and it was perfect, the food delicious, the waiting on staff excellent and attentive. The ambience was just what you want on a Saturday night. It was clean, the loo's hygienic (very important for weak bladders!!!), the chairs comfortable and good sized tables for a part
I had the nicest pub meal I have had in a long time. The duck was delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. The service was very good and the whole meal was great value. We will be back!
Visited again yesterday for an anniversary dinner. Food was excellent as always, the place was packed, but we still enjoyed good quality food, drink and service. Well fine to the Chef's bar and waiting staff on such a busy night.
A lovely bunch of staff. Tryed their best to help sort out the tv, & get it to work. The food was lovely but needed sharper knives. Great fun place.
Very good pub lunch with friends. Everyone enjoyed their food (and drink), the service was great and we had a nice walk in the surrounding countryside afterwards.
First time at the Queen's Arms, first class everything. Already booked for Xmas, and will be back for a Sunday roast before then. Fantastic, thanks to all the staff.
We turned up unexpectedly after my Dad's funeral. They accommodated around 20 of us very last minute and handled the unexpected rush superbly. Friendly, helpful staff and great food. There is a great atmosphere here and although we didn't stay overnight, I'm sure the rooms are as good as the rest
Visited a few times now, and the service and food are consistently excellent. Really comfortable surroundings. Felt welcomed, and could’ve happily stayed for hours. Our dog is always welcomed with open arms too!
Something of a mixed bag. The ceaser salad was excellent Each element perfectly done and skilfully combined But the Parmasan chips my partner had with her meal were just standard straw chips with a lump of Parmasan dumped on top and stuck under the grill for a bit. Dog friendly which ment we had

Great place, good food. The staff are very friendly and professional.
Great choice of food, very tasty, fresh and hot. Really enjoyed our meal here, would definitely visit again and would feel comfortable recommending it. Service also excellent.
Very accommodating for an unexpected large group. Great food although the menu has changed in the last few months and isn’t as much varied choice as before. Really good atmosphere and beautiful inside. We have family that live close by so this is always a place we look forward to going when we visi
Really good Sunday lunch, mess up over puddings order not going through, so had long wait and hot food was cold when it arrived. Overall service good, happy to deal with issues over cold desserts and take them off the bill. I'll go again, and recommend, sure the issues just a one off hiccup.
Delicious food, reasonable prices and brilliant service every time we visit! Favourite spot!
Had a lovely family lunch for my mother's birthday. The food and service is excellent. The portion sizes are generous, beautifully cooked and presented. The Texas ribs are the best I have ever tasted. Very popular place to visit for locals and from further afield. Certainly a place I would recommend
My wife and I had discussed visiting the Queen's Arms for quite some time but always ended up trying somewhere different. Thankfully we've now visited and were thoroughly impressed. Excellent service from the moment we stepped through the door with everyone being relaxed and attentive. We visited fo
